This product is not very long for a book mark. The crystal (amethyst in color, unsure if real) was nice and so heavy that the length of the plated silver pulls the bookmark out of the book. The plated silver was tarnished a bit on arrival. I bought it as a gift and was disappointed for a bookmark but happy about the crystal weight and appearance. It was packaged well in bubble wrap and box was not giftable with the larger "Made in China" stamped and embossed on it. It was alright for the price and small token gift. You get what you pay for. It looks like stamped cheap metal, which I ought to have expected. The crystal feels real enough, but it fell off.

Not sturdy amethyst came off hook. Luckily my husband can fix it! May come off again who knows. I fortunately found it where I had picked my book up off the kitchen table. Why I say lucky is because we were at our campsite so no telling if I would have found it or not if it hadn't just come undone while laying on table. First day I had used it not happy
