Tenba Shootout Mini Backpack - Black (632-503)

I bought this for my Nikon D800E that is suited with a Zeiss Makro Planar 100 mm lens to take with me on a cruise to the South Pacific.If you have stumbled on this backpack you must first notice all the positive reviews given to it. I made this purchase because of these reviews and here I am now reviewing it myself. Not enough can be said about the quality of this backpack. It is THE backpack for the photographer that wants to protect their gear.This is the mini backpack and it is perfect for someone like myself who does not have too much gear. I do not know that I will need to upgrade anytime soon as currently it more that meets my needs. Take care to make sure you get the right size backpack for the gear you have.One of the important features of this backpack is the quality of the velcro. Cheap velcro does not cut the mustard and your equipment will not be secure. One needs a strong velcro to hold heavy camera/lens combos and keep the gear from moving about.This backpack is rugged beyond description. You will be impressed with the way it has been built and you will know your expensive gear will be secure and protected properly. Get the Tenba backpack and know that you made the right choice. The backpack design is straightforward and simple, two side pockets, one main compartment and one compartment on the back that doubles as a tripod holder.The Tenba backpack is a no brainer for the photographer that wants the best built and smartest designed backpack made.

This is a great bag that I immediately outgrew. It was the perfect bag for my Canon 70D and my Tamron 300MM lens. It had enough room for an additional lens, charger, flash, etc. Soon after purchasing it, I purchased the Tamron 150-600MM Lens and the backpack was simply not big enough. It was well-made and I loved it. I wish Tenba made one in a larger size. Perhaps they do and I just didn't see it. Anyway, this backpack is great for 99.9% of the people.

just arrived yesterday. its sturdy, compact yet holds a lot of gear. I truly believe Ive FINALLY found the perfect hiking backpack. This will give me just the right amount of room to carry for a variety of shooting conditions while out in the great outdoors.

Nice, lighter than the original

Backpack arrived on time and was a Christmas gift. Backpack was smaller than others looked at but still had seperated compartments for camera and multiple lens.

I don't often do reviews, but felt I had to for this backpack. I've had it for about a year and a half and it has been the best compromise I have used so far. No camera bag is perfect (that's my excuse to my wife for having a half dozen of them). And I don't think this one is perfect either, but time and time again it is the bag I reach for whenever I have to do anything more demanding than drive around town.This past weekend it has been with me in the pouring rain (about half the time without the rain fly) on the river in an open speedboat zooming through the rainforest. Not a drop of water made it inside. In the past it has been with me in the baking heat and dry dust of the savannah, taken a fall or two, been crushed among people and cargo and through it all it has unfailingly protected my gear.The zippers are a bit frustrating, but they work well for keeping water out. The bag is well made from sturdy materials, well padded and I feel confident it will protect my gear from all but the worst trauma. It is the right size for a large DSLR and 3 zooms (I pack my D800, and the trio of 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200, all large f/2.8 lenses). It also holds a reasonable amount of peripherals, like a couple filters, two large memory card cases etc.There is theoretically space for a laptop and tripod, but I've never fetched either of those. With my usual gear loaded it's quite heavy and I think would be too cumbersome for my liking if I added a tripod. Even with the substantial weight of my gear, the bag is quite comfortable though.I'd recommend it.

It 'a sturdy bag that can hosting six lenses or have several personalized spaces. In my bag, I put my Canon EOS 7D + BG + 10-22, 24-70 L f / 2.8 + 50MM F / 1.8, 60mm macro, 70-200f / 4 and flashes 580 and 600. There are other pockets, but very small where you can put filters, cards or little things. The images speak for the rest. The bag isn't heavy, she's beautiful and discreet.It's ideal for entry-level and semi pro photographers. It's ideal for excursions out of town. If there was a space for the notebook, it was perfect!Sorry for my bad English.

Très satisfait de ce sac à dos, je l'ai acheté pour faire de la rando tout en ayant à disposition tout mon équipement photo.Peu encombrant et très solide, assez fonctionnel bien qu'il faille un "coup de main" à prendre pour l'accès rapide aux accessoires en bas du sac.On peux y mettre plusieurs objectifs et accessoires photos ainsi que le trépied, et peu importe sa taille.Ca ne laisse pas beaucoup de place pour autre chose (excepté portefeuille et clés) si le sac est plein, mais avec mon boitier, 2 objectifs et accessoires, j'avais la place de caser mon sandwich et barres céréales.Mon choix initial portait sur du Lowpro fastpack, mais après avoir longtemps hésité j'ai trouvé qu'il était trop encombrant pour les modèle 200 et plus. Et en plus il n'est pas très design à mon goût.Donc pas de regret du tout, très bon produit que je recommande à tous photographe amateur ou confirmé disposant de plusieurs objectifs. Son faible encombrement et sa capacité de stockage importante en font un sac idéal pour les sorties photo.
