My Shitzu poodle mix is about 21lbs and this works perfect! Awesome adjustability and durability! Helps not choke my dog when he's pulling hard. The harness is strong and keeps him under control. Fits my dog great and the price is really great too for great quality. Definitely helps when he pulls to keep him from choking himself. I like that it has a front and back attachment for more control. He also looks super cute in it!

I got a medium for my 37lb foster and it fit great. Durable and great quality for the money. Would buy again.

Update 5/27/19: I removed a star and stopped using this harness after a couple weeks of use. The harness does work well when it's on my dog and it's still a good quality harness which is why it still gets 4 stars. I stopped using it because I noticed that my dog's topcoat was coming out on her neck due to pulling the harness over her head to take it off. I found tufts of fur in the plastic pieces on the harness and could see her undercoat showing through (I added a picture of her neck to show the hair loss). My dog hated this harness and I needed to coax her with treats every time we went outside. I ended up buying a similar harness from another company that has a release buckle on the neck and like it much better.Original 5 star review: We have a lancashire heeler that is a funky size. We tried numerous other harnesses with no success. She has a block head and a long thin body. The other harnesses that clip in the front either didn't fit her or when she pulled the harness would rotate.This True Love harness fits her extremely well and when she pulls it stays right in the center where it's supposed to - it has gotten rid of 85% of her pulling. Sometimes I have to look down to see if she is still attached to the leash because there is no pulling! She has full shoulder movement and is comfortable in it. She isn't a huge fan of it going over her head but she is getting more and more used to it. For size reference - her chest is about 20 inches and she weighs 20 pounds (you can see her proportions in the standing picture).

I used another brand of harness, highly rated by Wirecutter, before I bought this one. It was difficult to put on and it kept a;I don’t to the side. I saw this one on a dog at the dog park and decided to try it. It does not slip and is so easy to put on. Also has a strap to grab the pup without a leash. Rings to attach leash are on the underside and top. Plus I love the color! Highly recommend this.

Comfort, SAFETY.. most important for the doggos. I am very glad I got these harnesses. Extra large for the 75 lb german shepherd mix, and a large for my 50-ish lb coon hound mix with a large chest area. I love that the harnesses do not in any way cut into their necks like the last ones did; and they are adjustable in 4 places to get the perfect fit. Works great.My doggos seem to love them. Slip it over the head, reach down and buckle up both sides.I was not very excited when I saw the clips for the leashes are hard plastic, and not metal. However, they are very thick, and are holding up well. I don't see them breaking from normal wear. Sometimes my 75 lb goof ball darts off, and hits the end of the (retractable) leash with a jolt. These seem perfectly constructed to hold up to a lot of that kind of shenanigans. I will let you know if they don't.Harnesses are well made, and have cushioning inside. ALSO I love that they have a lot of reflective stitching. I make my doggos wear high-visibility reflective vests when we are out in the dark, and the harnesses add yet another touch of reflectivity to their ensemble.There is also a "handle" on the back which I also love. I have grabbed that handle many times already, just to hold them from walking into the street when a car is approaching (Damn, people are idiot drivers. Please stop it.)We've used these for several walks now, and these are my favorite harnesses that I have ever used. Very affordable, too. They check all the boxes for me and my doggos. So far, so good! Highly recommend.

Purchased one to try it. Loved it so much all 3 of our dogs has one now! Of course they come in a number of great colors! Great fit on all 3.

It's a good harness. It's sturdy and she's comfortable in it. The leash rings are metal and sewn in very good. And it fits. I've had trouble with other harnesses. Dogs with narrow shoulders and rib cages (ie, Greyhounds, Dalmatians) are hard to fit because the neck never matches the chest sizes in the sizing charts so it's hard to determine what size to get. This one fits.But according to the size chart my dog should fit in a medium or large. She's 25 inches around the chest so she fell on the limit of both sizes. Reading that the harness runs small I ordered the large. It just barely fit with the straps adjusted to their maximum.Something wonky about the sizing but otherwise a good harness.

Although it is slightly too big for my puppy at the time I bought it, but my hopes is that my puppy will grow into it and if she doesn't, I'm very happy with my purchase because it's a very good quality harness and it will and should last her for a very long time. It's sturdy. If you dog is a small breed and smaller than 11 pounds and full grown, this harness will most likely be too big because at its shortest length it will be too long. I'm thankful that this harness is made very well. If you're wondering if this harness is a good and safe buy for your beloved dog, it is, but be sure to measure your dog to be sure that the neck and girth will fit either the shortest lengths or the longest lengths. It does fit slightly bigger, but my puppy is almost 8 months old so she still has some time before she's fully grown. In time she may grow more or she may be done growing, regardless whether if she's still growing or done growing I'm confident that this harness will last for a long time.
