I bought this for my 12yrs old son. The spoon is useless, too small than my 6 months old baby's spoon. You can not see it on the picture how the spoon is small because the spoon is behind the fork. The spoon is shorter than the fork and knife, and it looks like a tea spoon. I'll return them.

Monbento will last a lifetime if well taken care of. I love that the silverware is well made. I purchased this set to replace one piece that sadly fell victim to the garbage disposal. I would love if individual replacement pieces were available for purchase so that I don't have to buy the set.

Nice set of heavy cutlery. Five stars except for the clear lid issue...Why couldn't they shave off 1/32" to make the entire case fit into the square monbento? That way, the loose fork wouldn't be a problem, but with everything else so well-designed and high-priced by monbento, I would have assumed this too would be perfect. So close...Would give 4.8 stars but amazon doesn't have that level of refinement yet.

Love the size. Super well made and have great “hand” feel. Please note I have small hands. Work great for salads, meats and rice. The spoon is very small and shallow- but I was definitely able to use it for soup at lunch. I think for the spoon it is more important to me that it be small and sturdy than large.

Love these. Really cute and well made. They are kind of heavy to carry in my purse but that makes them feel good in your hand. So much nicer than flimsy plastic and I’m also not adding that plastic to our landfills. They are on the small side but that does bother me at all.

I'm a teacher, so tired of using plastic utensils. This is my second best investment from Amazon and Monbento. Worth the price and my conscience is clear about the environment. It makes a great gift to your friends and family (stocking stuffers)

Love this little flatware set! It fits perfectly in my bento box under the top lid. They look really small, but work perfectly with the bento box. And pink...you can never go wrong with pink!

After taking full-sized cutlery to work and occasionally running into issues with this, I figured it was worth the splash to buy this cutlery set. Upon receiving it it comes in a neat little package with a clear top and a black base that contains a fork, knife and something resembling a spoon.Considering their size they're remarkably sturdy and the thickness of the utensils works well. As they're smaller than the average eating utensils they fit nicely either in the top, or between two of the Monbento square boxes. The fact the utensils can also be washed via a dishwasher is a nice bonus (although not unexpected as these are steel). In terms of doing their primary job - they're fine and what you'd expect.There's a few (very) minor downsides. Firstly with the case for holding them, the clear top doesn't seem to like to click in to place easily, or even grip well as a whole. Once it's in the lid of the bento box this isn't a massive issue, but for general storage - one knock and suddenly the top is off. Following this the cutlery doesn't always seem to 'click' into place in the case either. I can get there in the end - but it often feels a bit fiddly. The last minor point is a few times I've gone to lean my knife in the bento box as I've had to take a pause and it's just slid straight into the food. Nothing a tissue or wipe can't correct, but it can be a tad inconvenient!None of the above are major gripes or issues because as stated, they work and they work well, it could just do with a minor revision to slightly improve them and they'd be worthy of that final, fifth star.

I love this cutlery set - strong and elegant, small and easily transportable. Keep it in my laptop bag so even if I have to buy lunch at least I'm not in need of plastic cutlery. The little container is great as it means dirty cutlery doesn't mess up anything else in your bag. Only issue I have is that your search engine doesn't return this set when you're trying to find travel/picnic cutlery.

Great little set of work lunch tools. Spoon is too small for soup but just right for small deserts. Fork and knife are perfectly sized and only noticed recently that the box fits snuggly inside the top of the Monbento boxes. Will buy again with a Monbento set as a gift.

High quality product, works perfectly with my Monbento square, it’s a pleasure eating pasta and rice meals with this set.Easy to wash and would recommend.The price reflects the quality.

These feel well made so I'm very pleased with this. Only improvement would be to shave a few millimetres off of them so they'd fit in the lid of their bento.
