Use in sunny areas.
I bought two of these for two bird baths. All I needed was some movement in the water to attract birds and prevent mosquitoes so, I didn't use any of the included nozzle tips. In full sunlight this unit produces a column of water about a 1/2" high. This is adequate for my purposes. It also works well in indirect sunlight. In full shade or darkness it works intermittently, if at all, indicating that it's so called "solar battery" is woefully inadequate.

It works well for its size.

It was could when we started so the fountain wasn't spraying very well, but when the sun came out it was much better. It's not nearly as strong as the fountain that plugged into outlet, but now it is free of cords so I can place it wherever I'd like.

Water flow isn't as tall as shown
So I bought this to keep the movement and flow of water going in my bird bath. This sinks mosquito eggs and they drown and die before hatching. The picture shows some real high water sprinkles that just doesn't happen, BUT, it does flow a few inches high and keeps the water moving, so it is doing exactly what I wanted it to do. I would definitely get another one if I get a bigger bird bath, etc.

Stopped working after a couple months
Initially I was very pleased with the product. However it stopped working after a couple months. I was hoping that for the price it would have lasted a bit longer. Sad day

Update
It started working! Waste of money because it does not work. I followed directions regarding how to restart it when it does automatic shut off and when it started up it only made small squirts of water. I am so disappointed and the birds are too.Before I packed it up to return, it started working. I am going to watch for a few days before returning. If it keeps working, I will change the rating.

Poor product!
This product does not work, Hasn't since day one. Stay away from it and save your money. Spend a little more and get a better quality product. Amazon shouldn't be selling this product.

Works well with battery back up
This is really cute, functional and durable. It works just about anywhere. I wish the battery had a longer charge but for the price it’s completely worth it!
