Chesapeake Bay Candle Tin with Double Wick Scented Candles, Sea Salt Coconut, Oval (2 Pack)

I purchased the coffee table size candle with three wicks in the Blood Orange scent. So when I review a product I give context. We have a pretty open floor plan where the kitchen opens into the dinning room (where I place candles) & into the living room with large arched doorways. Because of this the scent isn't contained into one room. The scent is mild & a nice background scent, not overpowering. Though the description lists several citrus/fruit oils as the primary scents it definitely has a floral scent (passion flower only floral listed). Love the idea of cleaning out the wax & repurposing the container it is quite cute. The quality of the wax seems to be good, even melting. Issues with the description: wood lid (composite board, really thick/dense cardboard), "candles should not be burned for more than 4 hours at a time" per amazon description (bottom of jar says 2 hours). General rule candles should burn one hour for every 1" in diameter of the candle. When burning candles if you don't let them burn till the wax is melted to the edges it creates a pool or indentation, this then limits the life of the candle as it won't ever melt further out then that point. This candle is close to 5" across, exceeding the 2 hour (per label) & 4 hour (per amazon description).

I bought the large 3-wick candle. What a total disappointment and waste of money ! Balsam Fir scent ??? There is absolute zero scent of Balsam Fir coming from this candle !!! There is no scent coming from this candle, period. Why ? Because it’s a regular candle !!! The only scent coming from this candle is from the wicks’s smoke after blowing them out. So if it is an expensive candle you want, go ahead. But if you want a scented candle, a Balsam Fir scented candle as they specifically brag, run away from this one, very far !!! And if you run as far as the woods, maybe you get the smell or scent of Balsam Fir, or Pine, or Pine trees, or trees, or a forest, or whatever scent/smell there was on the way you ran. Actually I’m going on my run now; I really want to smell some Balsam Fir, or Pine trees, or trees, or a forest, or whatever scent or smell there will be in my way because I got nothing from this crappy candle. At least on my run I’ll be guaranteed to get a scent/smell ! And the run will be good for me, while this lousy candle isn’t good at all.

I'm obsessed with the cinnamon spice scent! I would describe it as a mix of cinnamon, brown sugar and maybe cardamom? In any case, the scent is gorgeous and one candle burning scented my entire house! I love it. The whole house just smells good. I'm not a huge scented candles person, and my mom isn't either. But, we both LOVE these! I ordered two of them for myself about a week ago and I just ordered several more in larger sizes to give as gifts. The scent throw on these is incredible. They also burn very clean. No sooty candle jar!

I am a Pumpkin scent/flavor junkie and have tried all sorts of pumpkin scented candles. This is hands down my new favorite.I love the aroma, it smells very similar to a pumpkin spice latte. It is not too rich, yet the smell can fill an entire living room with a pleasantly sweet and rich fall smell.So far I have burned it for about 8 hours total and there is still plenty left. I was surprised when it arrived, I thought it would be larger. The candle is roughly 7 inches long and not very tall. I took two photos, in one this candle is placed next to a bath and bodyworks candle holder to show scale.The candle has two wicks. As it burns, the melting wax looks pretty clear and has a cool effect. The wicks do not produce much smoke.Overall if you are in the market for a pumpkin candle, go ahead and add this to your cart. This will definitely enhance your autumn.

I bought the Gardina and Milk and honey in the coffee table size. The scent is light and blends beautifully with my other scented candles. The gardinia candle is better for bigger space since it has a stronger scent and the milk and honey is perfect for my bed room since the scent is much lighter and needs a smaller space to smell the actual scent. I would recommend this to candle lovers.

Ugh :( I am a B&BW/Yankee candle addict but I saw all the great reviews for Chesapeake Bay candles and, against my better judgement, I decided I needed to get one. I ordered the two-wick Driftwood and Amber scent. I love this scent in general so I figured it was a safe bet. While the scent seems pleasant, I can BARELY smell it. I’m talking face in the candle, flames burning my eyebrows off close to even get a whiff of the scent. WHERE IS THE THROW?! I’m using this candle in a small office space so it should have some sort of throw but unfortunately it doesn’t. I’d have been better off burning the cash I spent on this candle as it probably would’ve had a better throw. 2 stars for what I think would’ve made a good scent and I like the tin it comes in. If you’re a B&BW addict looking for a quick candle fix, this is NOT it.

I really like this company. Prior to trying this scent, my favorite was clarity: sea salt and sage . But I really really loooove the myrrh. It’s unique and very comforting. I like frankincense and myrrh a lot so I was optimistic, but somehow this still surprised me with how lovely it is. It’s also just very aesthetically beautiful. Would make a very classy gift.I just began burning it, but all the others lasted a very long time and I cannot imagine this going differently. Please never discontinue 💜

Love this candle. The tin that is comes in is very nice with any decor. The Blood Orange scent is not overwhelming. It gives a nice pleasant scent which is clean and welcoming. People walk into my house and notice. They say how nice it smells and want to know where I got the candle. It has a lid which is nice so the candle doesn't gather dust when not being used. I like the two wicks, which looks nice and seven a purpose, more scent. Would buy in more scents for sure.

Ne vaut absolument pas 47$. N'achetez pas ce produit, c'est désolant.La chandelle ne fond pas uniformément. Elle creuse au milieu. La cire noie la mèche et la Chandelle s'éteint d'elle même...il faut creuser autour pour dégager la mèche et faire en sorte que la chandelle fonctionne. Je crains devoir la jeter après quelques heures d'usage seulement... La mèche devenant inutilisable rapidement

I'm not sure why its called Beach bonfire and described as smelling like fire....It smells like citronella and fresh fir tree.Not enjoyable. Also, its made by yankee candle and they dont put that on the product description, so its basically just a fancy looking yankee candle. Do not recommend purchasing this. I was hoping it would smell better lit, but it does not.

The scent I bought was lavender and sea salt and the smell in real life is so far from that. It smells like a heavy strong cologne that overpowers the whole room even with it never lit and with the lid on. Is not advertised as such but is a Yankee brand candle

Nice scented candle . Like the lemongrass scent.A little pricey than I wanted but was size and scent I required.
