Stability, comfortable , high back, able to fold, able to use anywhere

I was so glad to find these chairs on Amazon. I had a similar but cheap CVS folding chair that completely bent and collasped. The NueMedics "heavy duty" chairs arrived just in time to take to a party. They were used by several different people over the course of the evening. No one close to 300 lbs sat in the chair or was at party. The chair is rated at 400 lbs. There are two elbow joints that support seat and seat back at different angles. These elbows insert into steel tubes. The steel construction seems very sturdy. However, even though I am returning the broken chair for replacement, I feel that the reliance on a plastic elbow that sheared off completely on first use makes me very doubtful. The breakage was pointed out by a family member and I was extremely disappointed. I am happy with Amazon's easy return policy but if either chair fails from this plastic elbow joint that bears the entire weight of the seated person breaks again, I will return both chairs for refund next time. Based on other reviews I hope this was just flawed part.

Very happy with these 2 chairs. Considering buying more. Needed outdoor folding chairs for us that is also strong enough to support a 300 lb friend, but I wanted them to be good looking and easy for me (age 85) to set up and fold up, and feel comfortable. Nice plus is the back is adjustable. The only thing I don't like is when you open the chair, the back is always in the reclined half way position so I always have to sit down in it to operate the arms to adjust the back upwards. Otherwise great.

I love these heavy duty big chairs. You can tell these will hold up lots longer than many chairs you will buy in a store. The material on the actual chair is very thick too. The armrests are sturdy while trying to get out of the chair. This chair can actually lean back a bit to get a nap in. They are rated for a higher weight limit than most chairs too. My cats think they are pretty nice too!

It was nice having them already assembled. I just took them out of the box, and set them on the patio. Neat looking. When I sat in them, is when I was surprised, hey, these are comfortable! I was planning on getting cushions for them, but now I'm not so sure I want too. They are great without cushions. Now I just got them, so I can't verify durability, but they sure feel strong and not flimsy at all. By the feel of them, I would say they will last through quite a few seasons. One thing I would caution you about, is that they are definitely 20 inches wide, so if that is going to bother you, you may want to think again. They were fine for me, but if you are VERY wide in that area, you may find it a tight fit.

Just received the chair and delivery was timely; initial sturdiness and comfort is quite good...cannot yet assess long-term sturdiness because it is still new. The chair arrived folded and is easy to open...be sure to adjust the angle of repose before sitting in the chair. It is relatively clumsy to fold, and the enclosed directions do not help; however, once it is completely-folded it becomes a compact large-sturdy-chair for easy storage.

These are great chairs. They are super sturdy. The higher back makes them very comfortable. In fact, they are the most comfortable lawn chairs I ever sat it. They adjust position easily, and unlike some cheaper chairs they don’t slip out of the position when you shift your weight. They dry quickly too. The only downside is that they are kind of hard to fold and unfolds you need to force it a little.These are on the heavy side so probable not the best for taking to outdoor events if you need to walk a long way, but I bought them to use at home and they are just perfect.

Chair is sturdy enough but black color not best idea for a patio chair. Also fabric dips enough from your weight that you wind up sitting on the rear of the two seat support bars

The chair is very well made. I only wish it wasn’t so low to the ground!

Chairs itself are really nice and solid. The thing that is a little deceiving is that it's a product from the US and you are responsible for duties. So it's more expensive than I thought it would be. If I had known that, I might not have purchased it. You can't really tell what's coming from the US.

Liked the chairs. Comfy.Did not like the $80 Canadian we had to pay in duty to FedEx. That was an UNEXPECTED BAD SURPRISE!
