This is really handy! And does what i needed it to do!Certain apps wont be full screen on your TV however it still does the job and is a cheap alternative!Please note it will not work with Netflix or Amazon Prime due to those being a paid subscription! Please read the information on the product before buying as i see loads of reviews saying they bought it for Netflix even when it says it wont work 🙄

Don’t buy this. It doesn’t work. No instructions. Finally worked out that it needed power. Then got QR code on screen. Wouldn’t let me proceed until I scanned it. Then it took me to an unsecure site, then launched an app that I needed to unload. After unloading and opening the app it said I needed to upgrade, however I needed to know which “Series” product it was from a long list. There was nothing to tell me which product series it was, so I couldn’t proceed. Even if I had known then I’m not sure I’d have been confident that I was not downloading something dodgy! I was expecting it to be like when you buy a normal adapter - ie plug & play. I am returning them for a refund. DON’T BUY! You have been warned

The adaptor was either unsuitable or not working correctly. We could not a picture to transfer from the ipad to the projector. The adaptor from Apple worked first time.

Sync from iPad to tv and cost is too high

Advertised that it doesnt need a power supply but it does need the phone to be plugged in the get it working. Not helpful.

So many times I’ve come back from holiday wanting to show off all the photos I’ve taken to friends and family. So you download an app on your phone to cast to one tv manufacturer, but it’s slow and clunky.Then you go to another house and it’s a different tv so needs a different app...This device is brilliant. Just plug your lightning charger into it (has to have power to it too). Plug in the HDMI lead and finally plug it into your device. Boom; your phone is now on the TV, no downloads, no fuss.The device itself is small enough to carry around with you and was great quality for streaming pictures and videos. A fantastic and good quality bit of kit.

Being less than half the price of the Apple product it seemed like a good deal. However, it simply did not work, the TV which is a brand new Panasonic smart TV, did not recognise the connection when plugged in to any of the three HDMI sockets.I already have two genuine Apple products and they work perfectly first time every time and on a variety of different TVs. I have returned this product and purchased the genuine Apple version and as expected this worked first time and every time subsequently it has been used. This is why I buy Apple products and not copies.

Tried apple product first and worked great then bought this product a lot cheaper expecting it to work the same. The apple product works straight away ( ie between VR goggles and Iphone without having to plug into the apple charger. The cheaper alternative did not work at all at first then I tried plugging into apple charger and it then worked. No good like this to me as I wanted to use it without it being plugged into charger. I later saw reviews saying the product did not work I’m supposing they did not try it plugged into the charger. Hope that makes sense.
