Unless the opening is pre-configured to fit the design, it is impossible to mount from ceiling side.
Looks like a nice heavy fan. But if you are relying on the description for the dimensions of the mounting hole, be aware that the shape has to also match or modifications will be required that are not possible without attic installation.

Very nice unit
As a contractor install many exhaust fan. This one surprise me . Ez of installing into existing fan opening , very quiet. Moves fair amounts of rated cfm Grille is large cover up excess gaps. Prefer brand I will use.
