This bottle definitely takes the yucky water taste away. I have drank more water in two days than in the last week. Problem is, it drips water from the spout. This only happens if you close the straw part right after drinking. Where the flip up part makes a straw, water gathers if you put the straw down quickly after drinking. If you give it a minute, the water goes back into the bottle. If you don't, it gathers in the little spot in front of the straw part, then pours out on you the next time you take a drink. You can see in the second picture the little bit of puddled water in that space. If it didn't do this, I would have given it five (5) stars.

It is hard to suck the water through but I can live with that. I like the wrist strap but the “handle” for the finger seems like it could break. The main problem I have is that it leaks. Water comes through around the straw area and runs down the water bottle. Not sure if I am going to keep it for the cost.

I've been searching high and low for a filtered water bottle so that I can filter tap water at home. I only rent a room and have very little space to call my own, so I can't hook up a water filtration system in the house.I really want a bottle that filters fluoride, which is proving difficult to find. I saw a couple reviews regarding the straw being hard to suck water through, and thought, "how tough could it really be?" It's tough, guys. I'm drinking less water because I dread using this bottle. I guess if your options are to either struggle to suck river water through a straw, or build a fire, boil the water and wait for it to cool, this is a great invention. But this is a silly bottle for everyday use.Also worth noting is the taste. I read Seychelle reviews somewhere stating that their filters make the water flavorless, but there's a really strong taste of charcoal. Not flavorless at all.Seychelle sells two filters for their water bottles, one blue and one black. They call this bottle/filter combo alkaline, but it's their blue filter that makes water alkaline. So, it'd be great if they could really simplify/clarify what they're doing for their customers. I think I found the "flavorless" comment left for their blue filter, which further causes me to believe that they mislabeled this bottle/filter combo as alkaline.I'm most likely going to return this, but I'm disappointed due to my lack of options. Seychelle's poor customer service makes me want to run too.

The bottle is well made. Having the strap & finger grab option is nice.I have been taking water out of a alkaline pitcher I have from this company that I keep in my frig at all times & I guess double filtering it to get a colder drink right away. I also keep this water bottle in the frig at all times between uses to avoid bacteria.If I were out in a restaurant I would definitely use this, so many times the water is just so chlorinated I do not like to drink it. And when you eat out the water would already be cold that you transfer from the ice water. Also convenience stores would be a great place to use so as not to trust their filter on those soda pop dispensers that filter water. So all in all I think they have another great product. People on the go should love this &made in the USA!

I got this for my daughter who used it everyday during her fall semester in college. So I purchased it on Aug 1st, 2021 and today Jan 14th it broke. The stainless steel bottle, filter,and the stem the filter screws onto is fine, just where the top stem connects broke. Now I'm wondering if I should purchase another $40 water bottle from Seychelle or decide to go with one of their competitors. I'm going to lean toward the competitor, because a $40 water bottle should last longer than a little over 4 months.

It seems there is a trick to sipping through their straw device. If you hold your fingers over the air gap just right it will work somewhat, but I was not impressed- I no longer use this item because of that.If I needed to filter water really bad, I might count on what they say it does to filter bad water to good drinking water.

My water tastes great now. This water bottle has a lot of great things about it. I live in an area with hard water. You can really tell with this water bottle that it filters that stuff out just by taste alone. I look forward to trying it on other sources of water. The water bottle has a slightly rough coating which is nice for grip. It fits in all my cup holders which might not seem like an important one but it is. I have several water bottles that end up on the floor rolling around because they don’t fit in any cup holders. Overall does everything for me. The only down side is that the wrist strap that was advertised did not come with it.

It was a great bottle. I used it daily for a few months. Literally the day after the Amazon warranty ran out the cap would not pull water out of the bottle - just air. I cannot figure it out.Plus, the manufacturer (Seychelle) will not contact me back!?! I Just want to order a replacement cap...It’s a great bottle but know that your cap can one day break and you will get TERRIBLE customer service from Seychelle and as of yet still no response
