Lifetime Guarantee no brainer socks.
Having just thrown my last pairs of Bridgedales and Point 6 socks in the bin as they’d worn through I thought I’d give this brand a go. As well as for use with my hiking boots/approach shoes I also wear outdoor socks instead of slippers so they do get lots of wear. Fit is good, I’m an 8-8.5 so ordered the LG (7.5-9) and they fit my foot well and there’s a slight grip around the mid foot/instep so they don’t move around. No loose threads on the inside and seams are flat so in my boots they feel good. In comparison to the other brands mentioned they’re not quite as soft which is fine by me if they’re hardwearing, although they do soften up after first wash. Also they are slightly more expensive and have found them cheaper via Google. However the fact they have an unconditional lifetime guarantee makes these a no brainer purchase as you just send them back to the uk distributor and they send you a replacement pair. So if I switch to this brand I shouldn’t have to buy anymore socks when they wear out. Only time will tell how they feel as they wear but so far I love them and they have some great designs and colours. Going to order more and a couple of thicker pairs for the chilly season.

Favourite brand of socks
Great. Ideal socks for any long hikes or if you just get sore cold feet. I’ve started wearing Darn Toughs for everyday working as they are comfortable, don’t soak through due to the Marino wool wicking sweat and there are different cushion types depending on your requirements. The lifetime guarantee from darn tough is also a sweet spot. I haven’t used it yet but have seen from others including my dad that it is fantastic. Worth spending that little bit more for such high quality. I’ve even convinced and converted family and friends.

Great socks! For you and the planet.
I have always bought cheap socks and accepted that they develop holes after a few wears. Then I read an article about what happens to all the clothing we in the West throw out. One of the main countries that import it to process is Chile and the items not used (in their thousands) get dumped in places like the Atacama Desert. It’s an ecological disaster. Now, socks are a small thing but I figured that if I bought decent ones, they would last and therefore not end up turning into litter. Darn Tough are supposed to be the best, so I ordered one pair to try and have been super impressed. They are great quality and can be worn several times before washing (and no, they don’t smell) and they fit well too. I will be ordering some more and intend, in due course, just to own a few pairs of these and never buy cheap socks again. Even small changes like this can make a difference if we all try.

Best Hiking Socks
These are expensive for a reason and I struggled with the price but they are also the best hiking sock i’ve owned. They are also synthetic which is something that I was looking for. The synthetic blend functions amazing and does it job better than I expected. These socks are comfy and keep my feet dry while preventing rubbing and irritation. I’ve been so impressed that I have purchased a second pair for an upcoming trip.
