My family really likes this Potane Vacuum Sealer. It looks nice in our stainless steel kitchen, and is well made. It's compact, with on board cord storage. Appreciate the auto and manual vacuum and sealing options. The Video tutorial was very helpful for us newbies. Two sizes of bag rolls are included. Couldn't find the bag slicer, it's lightweight, and Customer Support quickly replied to my email letting me know it was in an included envelope and sure enough, it was at the bottom. The bag slicer, which looks like a small letter opener, works great. Much better than scissors. We've already started saving money by sealing and freezing bulk purchased meats and cheeses. Going to try Sous Vide next.

Pte Potane vacuum sealer works great!! It's very easy to use. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I have not purchased any attachments. I have only used it to vacuum seal meat.

I have been wanting to purchase a vacuum sealer for many years. I always thought they would be complicated and messy. I was so wrong! This is easy to use and its compact design makes storing it away a breeze. Clear and simple directions made my first vacuum project simple. I now seal all my frozen items as soon as I buy . I will never have to worry about freezer burn again. Enjoy!

I bought this primarily so I could use it to reduce freezer burn on meats that I buy in large packages and then split up and freeze. I've used it mostly for ground beef and chicken breasts, but also used it for some bacon recently. I've made my way through the entire small roll of included bags and partly through the large roll, and the unit is working well. The key (IMHO) is to not try to cut it too close on the bag sizes, because you need to make sure the open end of the bag is well into the vacuum chamber before you snap the lid closed to ensure good results ... this leaves an inch or so of extra bag above the seal, which may feel like a waste, but you have to get over that feeling and just factor it into the cost of using the machine. I just ordered some pre-cut bags, so we'll see how well they work. The photo shows 1/2 lb of ground beef using a bag made from the small roll that is included.

They don’t make products this reliable much anymore. We ordered this Nov ‘22 and have used it almost daily. It is now Mar ‘25 and it’s still running strong. I had that realization today and felt the need to share.We use the seal function to reseal plastic food bags like chips, rice, beans, crackers, etc., which makes opening a bag of food without the intent of finishing it a non-issue. We use the vacuum seal function when buying meat in bulk on sale > segmenting into portions > seal > freeze, which has saved us a ton on groceries over the last 2+ years. You too can eat steak regularly on a tight grocery budget if you time your purchases appropriately. I’ve also used it to vacuum seal perishable items to ship and that has worked really well.I haven’t tried the suction function with compatible containers, so I can’t comment on that.10/10 recommend this sealer, and if it ever somehow magically breaks I will be right back in line to get another one without question.

I have tried several vacuum sealers and this one is top notch for me. I can use different sized bags, it is quiet, and very easy to use. If necessary, I will purchase this product again.
