IRWIN Tin Snip, Circular, 12-3/4-Inch (23012)

Fantastic product, service, shipment, and ease of transaction. This Tin Snips are simply superb in quality. The cutting hinge works smoothly and easily tears through siding, roofing material, small nails, carpets, canvas and nylon padding/material. So far they have stayed sharp and the quality seems like they will last a many years. We need snips that do not have the very heavy bend at the tip so that they can get into small spaces to make cuts. These kind of snips are becoming hard to find. I found these here and for the price bought 2 of them. They arrived in perfect condition and within 2 days of the 12 PM order. Overall we are very satisfied and would highly recommend these to anyone.

These are the best straight duckbill snips made. I use for aluminum trim work and the only pair i have in my bag. The sleek duckbill allows you to cut pretty much any cuts you need for aluminum trim work.

I like the ergonomics and the ease of cutting aluminum.

I used the Wiss V-19 for years, when I replaced them, the new pair were great but HEAVY! I took a chance on these, they turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Agile, smooth on curved cuts and precice. I believe they might be cast from the original Wiss V-19 mold. Anyway, great shears.

I was looking for some good snips to cut some .040" thick perforated sheet steel into odd shaped decorative panels that needed to be perfectly flat in order to slide into thin support slots. I first tried using my professional quality aviation snips which turned out to be very difficult and made a complete mess of the edges. The Irwin snips cut through the metal easily and left very clean straight edges. The long handles gave lots of extra leverage over normal aviation snips and the rubber coated handles are easy on the hands. I usually don't write reviews unless I'm very unhappy but these tin snips have truly exceeded my expectations.
