Works as advertised
Received this to work hand in hand with ForScan. Connectivity was easy enough. Just download driver and get set. Had zero problems getting it setup with the instructions received with adapter and instructions reviewed on the seller's listing at point of sale. Quality of product seems good. Was able to retrieve all data from my Explorer quickly, and perform several tests on many systems. Found fault code in seat module that I was not surprised of, one of the motors malfunctioning. Found fault codes in rear windshield wiper that wasn't expecting. It's been malfunctioning for some time, and i had it diagnosed as needing to be reset. There were 2 fault codes fore the switch and 1 code for faulty motor. Had been concerned about something within the engine management but found all to be good after running some tests that this product along with the program made available. Am definitely a happy camper, would definitely recommend.

Does the job
Any OBD2 should be able to diagnose and 'fix' the problem codes. This does that. Many reviews say that the USB cable is flimsy. Mine is not. The switch could be better in location, as it is difficult to switch between the two modes. and too, the toggle switch seems cheap. Usage of this on a regular basis, I can see the switch going bad first. The LED do it's job as well, The indicators show what is being worked on at the time. For the money, this is excellent for a wired OBD2. My choice as I have yet found a BT or WiFi that accurately reads correctly. There are no instructions. Not an issue, if you have no idea how to use this, don't. No sense having a brick for a car because the one system change. An oops moment that you do not want.Software is a link on a biz card. The basics, unless you decide the membership part to unlock all the features to do a real tweaking on the vehicle. I bought a year for what? $10.. yes. It's worth it to open the software up for what you really need to do.One that really I needed it for was the Sync and the MyKey feature. With only one key, I did brick my Ford. I backed up the configuration in case this would happen, and I ended up having to make a key, because Sync has an issue with the one.. that is not a Admin key. The OBD2 w/software did it right by just resetting the whole system, giving me no Admin or Valet keys. MyKey no longer is enabled, thus PATS is disabled for the transponder. Now that it is gone, I can upgrade to a push button start.Again, if you do not know what you are doing, don't. I backed up my configuration, not difficult, but a little hard to find. Ford wanted to charge me 350 to remove the MyKey feature. I did it for 100. And I can use the equipment and software for a year, thus making me money. Especially since I figure out that nuisance of MyKey.Well worth the money for the hardware. Durable and small enough to wrap up and put in the glovebox.. or tool case.

Worked fine
This worked fine for my 2015 Ford Fusion. FORscan did say not all functions would work with this adaptor, but I had no problems programming the ACM.

Nice!
It worked perfectly with Forscan. I used it to enable the factory fog light option on my 2017 Ford Fiesta and setting the correct tire size. It also worked on my 2024 Ford Bronco for adjusting some chimes.

Works with Forscan software (which is cheap, but NOT free)
It's a must have cable for programming your Ford, it's unfortunate you have to flip the switch back and forth for high speed and low speed, but it works. Put a label on the bottom so you can see what position it's in while it's plugged in.

Not user friendly
Came in a ziplock back with a business card for minor directions. Called them for support and never called back. Not user friend, nor was there clear directions. There’s a toggle switch, cool….what does it do? IDK. No directions. Not a mechanic, so this is new to me. It scanned the vehicle, but I could not change a thing. I want to turn off certain annoyances that Ford thought would be a good idea like exhaust noise in the speakers….seriously?Gonna return and find something friendlier, or at least able to turn things off.

Works as intended
Recently downloaded FORSCAN and used this to modify a bunch of parameters on my F150 to more fit my liking. Seamless. Good price vs some of the fancier versions. This does everything that's needed at a low price. Recommended.
