Durable stand!
Very durable stand, light weight and does its job. There is only ONE, the picture just shows that it has multiple uses.

Works great for holding my projector
I bought this to replace my DIY stand to hold my projector for movie nights on the patio. I had used a portable stand-up desk but to get the right height and angle I had to put books underneath the projector and slant them in just the right way. It took me 15-20 minutes to get it right. So ridiculous. I did that to save money. Well, I'd had enough of that and ordered this tripod stand. It is so easy to put together and fold back up. I like that it has a mat and straps to keep the projector in place. I also plan on getting a small, portable DVD player to play movies I own through the projector and the tray is long enough to accommodate that. I also needed the stand to be at least 51 inches high, which I found not all go that high. It is very stable when set up.One nice feature that other stands don't offer is the ability to level it for uneven surfaces. That was the selling point for me because I really needed that capability. I didn't want to keep fidgeting with this leg or that or resorting to books again to align the picture on the screen.I was disappointed that the tray doesn't stay tightly in place. It has some wobble. That was the issue with my DIY stand that I hoped this stand would eliminate. But it didn't. It's still pretty sturdy but not as much as I think it should be. Not a deal breaker, but a reason I couldn't give it 5 stars for sturdiness. One thing I wish it did have was a bag to store or carry it in. I know fitting the tray in the bag could be tricky, but at least having one for the tripod would be nice. Hence, the reason I gave only 4 stars for portability.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. I can set up the projector and align the picture in a matter of minutes without a ton of frustration. I plan to use it indoors during the Christmas holiday when I use the projector to show Christmas scenes via a screen in my front window. Last year I had to use books and even wooden shims, as crazy as that sounds, to get everything to project properly. Definitely, a good buy that I recommend.

This is the Best Thing Ever...
Okay. So if you are reading this needing to know if it is good/bad for what it was intended for - then skip this review. My review is based on the need to have something to place my laptop on while I sit on my LoveSac to watch my streaming shows without having to hold the laptop on my lap or place it precariously on the beanbag chair - all the while worrying I am getting something not-so-good-for-me radiating into my legs/abdomen or an other part of my body (with my device so close to me). This enables me to watch my shows from a distance, as if my laptop were mounted on the wall like a real flat screen. I can move it with ease wherever and whenever I need to move my body to change position without having to change anything on the stand - which by the way, there are so many variances with height adjustment, angle, etc. The actual part that the laptop sits on can rotate 360 degrees with ease without compromising stability. All I can say is this: I have not been so stoked with a product since I came across this item in a very long time. Super easy to assemble (part of the tripod stick portion nestles into the main rod, so remember to pull it out to access it, don't call the company like I did stating a missing part) and worth every penny. To the company who makes this - KUDOS. And to all you people out there who use your laptop to stream your shows with - who lounge on a bed or a couch or anywhere else... this is a MUST.

Great idea, iffy execution.
Unboxing this stand, I was impressed with the apparent build quality. Fit and finish seemed nice, all of the moving parts were stiff, as new parts should be. A few adjustments to the tightness of some of the compression fittings and it was exactly what I needed; a portable, compact laptop stand that I can throw in my vehicle and easily transport around job sites to set up at different control panels. After the initial setup out of the box, when folding the stand it occurred to me that the bolt hardware seemed rather low quality, but being as the rest of the parts were pretty sturdily built I figured maybe I was wrong. In 3-4 months of use, I can safely say that the bolts are junk quality. I set this stand up and pack it in again maybe 2-3 times a day depending on what I'm doing. I'm pretty meticulous about how I treat tools, and this stand has been treated in the same way. At this point, the main leg assembly carriage bolt threads have worn down to nothing, and the largest telescoping section's bolt has the same issue. Granted, these are heavy wear points, but I take care to assist in compressing the parts together so that the threads don't bear all of the load. Still, I'm going to have to replace all of the hardware for all of the wear points. Also, all of the wingnuts interfere with each other when the stand is fully folded up, meaning you have to make sure they're staggered so you can tighten them, otherwise they won't turn a full rotation. I'll be replacing those as well, both to match the material of the new bolts and to fix the interference issue. All told, this stand cost whatever I paid for it here plus time wasted with it on job sites as the hardware started failing, redesign time, a trip to the hardware store, the cost of new hardware, assembly time, and hopefully that's it.Otherwise, when the stand is new it does exactly what it's designed to do. If you're going to buy it and use it frequently, I would highly recommend replacing the bolts and nuts right out of the box. Don't waste your time with the ones from the factory. I would tell you what bolt types and sizes but I haven't done that work yet; that will be this weekend's project. I'll update with photos and sizes later.

Very good projector stand
Very good stand, lightweight and 3 extensions. Table is metal, thin but solid enough. Wouldn't solid enough for DJ'in or gaming, but could hold laptop for a presentation.Includes 2 elastic strap and no skid matt, and mouse pad extension (flimsy)

Pleasantly surprised.
I needed a stand for my LED projector. I wanted something good because I was afraid they would be easy to tip over. Many of them had very thin legs. This one has very sturdy legs. It would not collapse or fall over unless you bumped into it with great force. I had ordered a cheaper one previously and it was nowhere near as good. So if you’re looking for a I can say this one is excellent. It is sturdy. I’ve tried it with my projector and it works beautifully. I certainly recommend it. An easy five stars.
