This bread knife cuts through bread like butter! It is so sharp and the blade is sturdy. I love how the stainless steel design continues down to the handle (our old one had a wooden handle and it just wasn't that attractive). The handle has a perfect ergonomic shape that makes it really comfortable to hold. This knife holds up in the dishwasher with no problem, so it's incredibly easy to care for. Love it!

i like the size and weight. it fits well in your hand. it wasn't real sharp upon receipt but once i sharpened it works very well.

I was just looking for an inexpensive serrated-blade knife to slice bagels and loaves without annoying my wife by using "her" good Henkel knife. This is perfect - long, sharp, hefty, seems sturdily made, and it indeed does a nice job slicing bagels and loaves. And cheap: an excellent value.

With one exception this is a great knife: nice long blade, ergonomic handle, attractive and very sharp. However, it has one downfall for me and other right-handed people - it is left-handed and should be advertised as such. The bevel on the serrated edge is on the wrong side for us right-hand folk. As one slices or carves the blade pushes away and thus the slice gets thinner toward the bottom of the cut. The only knife I have where I have to stop and think of what angle I have to cut at to achieve a uniform cut. Not something that can't be compensated for, but still an annoyance.

This is a left handed knife (ground on the left side). It's difficult for a right handed person to use. This should be specified in the description. A wasted purchase for me.Knife is good and sharp, and feels solid and high quality.

I ordered this knife because I was tired of hacking fresh bread to pieces with a dull bread knife. This knife is everything I had hoped it would be. I was able to cleanly slice a loaf of Portuguese bread which is a very soft bread and notoriously difficult to slice evenly. The knife has a nice heft to it and fits comfortably in my hand. This is a better purchase than others I have made lately.

Not really that sharp. I bought this to replace a dull bread knife cut but find this one just slightly sharper.

You get what you pay for. You could see tool marks on the blade, so this isn't going to be a work of art. For the price you can't beat it though, it does the job that is intended.
