A Father's Story

Thought Provoking
So, I watched the Netflix series, and I had my opinions, however as a parent read this book written from a parents perspective. It’s an easy read (I read it in a couple of days) but, the content will stay with you a long time. I found myself feeling sorry for the dad at times, but this is not the intention of the author. He blames himself greatly for his son’s behaviour. Good debate for nature/nurture.

Brilliant read
I got the updated version, with the extra chapter at the end about Jeff’s death. The whole book was a great read, his dad give you a good insight into Jeff’s history and a lot of details about why Jeff was possibly the way he was.Would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in this type of thing.

A must buy
Brilliant book to read even for those not particularly interested in the case. On a personal level this book has given me empathy and compassion towards Jeff and some understanding on why he did what he did. Obviously it can never be justified but I believe it should be known.Easy book to read, a real tradedgy for all involved. I hope Lionel and Shari's quality of life has improved.Thank you for sharing.

Some sadness and regret
True fathers story. It does make me cry at some point, Because I’m a parent myself. I’m sure it wasn’t easy for him to accept that Jeffray was a killer for him he was his little boy .
