Q: is this hat actually black or is it more of a charcoal grey? I purchased a different style Carhartt hat in black but the hat was a grey color.

The material this hat is made of has been through a sandstone process that gives it a bit of a worn in look. The black color is more of a faded black, rather than a deep black.

This style is designed to have a light-structure with a medium-profile. The crown diameter is 7 1/4" and the crown length is 13 1/2".

Q: What color is the "soft blue"? Does it appear white?

This color will be a very light blue.

Navy blue ???

Great hat and looks great on a smaller head. Just wanted a Navy blue color and noticed they don’t sell them anymore even though they have like three shades of royalish blue.
