With Halloween finally over and Bonfire Night passing, Christmas is the next thing to worry about, and with the effort we put into Halloween, the kids are expecting much much more from us for the season that everyone expects us to be jolly. I’m not one for plastering the outside of the house in Christmas lights, as they will still be there in 6 months time and we’ll be the talk of the terrace, so all our efforts are concentrated inside (which is also where the kids will get the most pleasure from the lights) and hence the purchase of these wonderful lights.We had seen the rather larger, much more expensive versions at a garden centre in Derby a while ago, and we were all mesmerised by how beautiful they looked. Although much smaller, these lights still perform in a very similar manner, with a lovely led light dropping down the tube to create a shooting star effect. Can be used both indoors and outdoors, and there is a connector at the end of each tube that allows you to connect more sets to pad out the lights and spread them out over a longer distance (I think to a maximum of 5).Easy to set up and easy to enjoy and look great, a great purchase for just a penny under £13.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Ordered these at the request of my other half who is Christmas mad and about this time every year (October) we start to stock pile Christmas decorations ... so these caught her eye and wondered what the effect would be like. I on the other hand is not overly fussed about Christmas or decorations but after seeing these in action I was impressed enough to write a review.....I have to admit the effect is really rather attractive as you will see in the video I attached to this review and I imagine once these are added to either a Christmas tree or house they will look very nice in a nice understated and stylish way rather than some of the garish lights some other people use.Each strip / unit on the cable looks to be very well made and sealed against the delightful weather we get with our UK winters. There is a socket on the end of the cable so you can add more sets of lights to suit your needs such as adding them to the outside of the house. Being LED there is no worries of a bulb going out and having to try and replace it and they are of course very low energy usage which is always good too.Now that we know we like the failing rain effect of the lights we will definitely be ordering more sets to add to the front of the house closer to Christmas. However as much as these lights can be used outside the cable is pretty short and would be fine for decorating a indoor Christmas tree but for outside use you will definitely need to extend the cable in someway which isn't really a big deal and easy enough done.For the really attractive effect, build quality, weather proofing and a standard 3 pin UK plug at a very affordable price these really are a excellent buy and as I already said we will be ordering more to cover the length of our home.

These were the cheapest I could find online, but are well worth the money. I bought two sets and strung them together on one of the power adapters. This leaves me with a spare power unit in case of failure. They give a great effect if strung out in the open or within branches of a tree. One of the elements failed after a few days, but the rest are still going strong. Still worth the money, but I might invest in a better quality set next year.

Didn't like them, so I gave them away.

Wiring needs adjusting there`s not enough

Very good product but the cable does need to be longer sadly.

the cord with plug on was not long enough to reach a socket & have the lights above a window or in a tree, so had to attach an extension lead , this should have been unnecessary as it was unsightly

Lights are great although cable is far too short to plug in. Bought similar from different supplier and cable is perfect length with some to spare.
