I love this product. I was hopeful when ordering that this product would be a good, but it is way better than expected. I use it as a moisturizer, chapstick, under my eyes for wrinkles, and for sunburns. This stuff is amazing and smells so good. It feels like putting water on top of your skin, not the consistency of water but the hydration. In Arizona my son got a severe sun burn and I was panicked that I would have to take him to the hospital. He was dark red all over and crying. I knew he desperately needed moisture on his skin right away, so I slathered him in this tallow. Every hour applying a new layer, or whenever I noticed his skin absorbing what had been put on, immediately a new layer went on. HIS SUN BURN WENT AWAY COMPLETELY in two days. No peeling skin, no blisters, just a nice tan. I don’t know how that is possible, but it was amazing. My friends son had blisters on his lips that were bleeding and peeling from being burned when we were at the lake for a few days. Blood and blisters. When I got there I gave him this tallow and he used it all day, and by the next day his lips look like they were already almost healed. I don’t travel without this van man tallow anymore, and I love gifting it to people. Everyone who I’ve shared it with loves it!

This tallow can be greasy if you apply alot but a little goes along way. But its pretty good and if you let it dry a-bit it doesn't get on clothes. Also i had a blister on my lip cause i burned it while i was cooking and with this i applied it cause i just needed something to keep it moisturized but it healed it significanlty and tried it multiple times and it healed within a couple days. Was pretty good.

Tried the travel size and came back for full size. This stuff is LUSH. I apply in the evening after shower along with my eye cream and a serum. It takes a min for everything to absorb (I wear another spf moisturizer during the day) I'm really, really liking this product on my 42 year-old face.There is a SLIGHT beef fat smell but it dissipates quickly. Enjoying the all natural ingredients.

I really wanted to try beef tallow honey balm and this was the perfect little amount for a good price. The smallest container lasted me about 3 weeks of continuous use. A little goes a long way. I live in Northern Colorado and purchased this in the winter to help my severely dried skin and its the only thing that maintained a hydrated skin barrier. I also have cystic acne and this did not cause me to break out or make any present blemishes worse. I am still using the balm today and in the warmer weather, it still feels nice and protective

I really love how well this balm worked on the problems I was having with my skin. Good bye dry skin, acne, irritation, redness, and it even softened some of the wrinkles that I’ve recently noticed on my face. I could go on and on about how it seems almost magical with how well it works, with pretty fast and noticeable results. Unfortunately, I was beyond disappointed when I went to apply some and realized there was a pretty big empty pocket in the middle of the jar. It’s a pretty small jar with a somewhat hefty price, to not be full all they way through. So I can say that I definitely did not receive the amount of ounces listed on the jar, because it was at least a quarter of the amount short in relation to the hollow center. I was also not a fan of the smell. As amazing as it was for my skin, I have a hard time with the smell. As an ER nurse, working 12 hour shifts, I can’t be smelling like an animal while doing patient care and being in close personal space with others. I really do want to buy more, but I think they need to add some essential oils to the balm to mask the strange scent. I realize I could just add my own, but for the price and the fact that my jar wasn’t full, I didn’t feel that I should have to add things to make it better. That would ultimately cost me more in the long run. I will say, if not for the empty pocket and the strange scent, I’d definitely give this product 5 stars, because the benefits are real and you get results fast. It left my skin feeling and looking so silky smooth. It’s a very impressive moisturizer!

Hella expensive and hella good. I purchased the tiny tin of this liquid gold and when I run out you better believe ill be back to fork over a crisp hundred dollar bill for that slightly larger, (but still crazy small) jar of golden magic.Ok, so maybe I'm exaggerating but probably not... I was genuinely aggravated at myself for once again making late night purchases on amazon that I somehow justify because, well, I do deserve the best after all, right?! Yes I do, and so do YOU.In the past I have purchased som rather pricey facial creams only to kick myself in the ass because once again they never really work with my skin.After falling down the tallow rabbit hole and purchasing a few different brands, some good and some not so much, I came across this 'VanMan.' Who is this van man anyway? Some hippy trying to swindle me out of hard earned money for a little bison fat and bee puke? *sigh* So after smearing a tiny bit of product out of this teeny-tiny-tin on my face, I now live in a van down by the river and will be purchasing in bulk.It really is lovely.Im in my forties with normal to dry skin and some hormonal acne which likes to remind me that I'm probably perimenopausal...and let me tell you this stuff is perfect.Fun fact, I really do live I a van down by the river. Ha! Well, not exactly a van rather, a monster class A motorhome but I digress.
