The active ingredient in this product, wrightia tinctoria, is extremely effective at giving your skin a chance to truly heal and clear-up IF you are not actively aggravating the underlying autoimmune condition. (Typically, dietary grains create the leaky, inflamed gut, followed by poorly-digested proteins getting into your bloodstream which your body learns to attack, and which often wind up getting confused with your own body's proteins--your skin is being attacked from the inside.) The first time I used it, I had given up grains for months, but the psoriasis never really cleared. This oil cleared my skin completely. The literature claims two routes of skin damage are being inhibited. A couple years later, I developed a bit of psoriasis again. I sometimes need to apply it to an itchy spot 3 or 4 times a day when I'm eating badly, but it can only do so much for a body attacking itself from the inside. As long as I stay away from grains and keep animal proteins down to twice a week, it can perform miracles for me. Very good product. Its expensive but hey at least it works. I tried many other things and majoirty of them dont work. This one does. I like it alot.
