Sound quality and volume are surprisingly good for such a relatively small device. I would recommend playing music/audiobooks/podcasts etc. by Bluetooth from your phone (greater control of track order, shuffle features etc. not available with USB/microSD and obviously useful if you receive a call, although you'll have stay reasonably close to the microphone which is probably about the same power as your phone). Also note its memory seems to be limited to 32GB for USB/microSD use as it could not handle a 64GB usb stick but worked with a 32GB USB/microSD and 8GB USB stick. Assuming you have a decent signal FM radio playback is good. It is relatively easy to set up (the most difficult part for me was the print size of the manual). If you are looking for an inexpensive, flexible, and easily portable audio device, this could be what you require.

Pros:Great as a portable music player, for around the house. I move it form room to room, with ease.Quite loud, for the size, bass not bad at all (i do need bass)Cons:As an alarm clock it is terrible because it only wakes up in LOUD. It will play either a beep (loud) or a memory card/stick (loud), as the alarm. Not radio. So i find myself absolutely jumping out of bed to switch it off (so the neighbours dont complain), then jumping back into bed and going back to sleep before ive even woken up. There is no snooze, so you either get up or dont.There is no way you can fumble about for the "volume down" button, when the alarm booms. You just end up hitting "any~" button, which just switches it off.Once charged it lasts a few hours of play. Maybe not a full day, though.But i am glad i bought it. Its just not very good, as an alarm clock. Great as a portable radio, though - not "tinnny", pretty good bass (its fine for house music, in a bedroom).

This is a nice looking portable clock / radio / Bluetooth speaker. The speaker is packaged in a nice looking box, making it ideal as a gift. In the box is the speaker itself, a USB to micro USB lead and a 3.5mm audio cable.The whole unit looks great, better than the pictures indicate. On the top of the speaker are the control buttons for the radio, Bluetooth, clock, volume and calls. The buttons are a good size and clearly labelled for easy use.On the back are the input ports. It features a micro USB port for charging a line in port, a micro SD card slot and a USB port. These can be used to play music if you do not want to link the speaker to a Bluetooth device. The speaker supports MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC formats if you want to directly input the music via the USB or micro SD card slot.The speaker features two three watt speakers, which deliver a very good sound quality, especially considering the size of the device. The high ranges come through very well indeed and bass is reasonable. Volume is perfectly adequate for the size of the device and is more than enough for a standard size room.The radio function is a nice addition to the speaker and works exceptionally well. It is tuned via the volume buttons and delivers a crisp sound.Overall, this is a very nice Bluetooth speaker that does more than the average unit. I received this set last week for my workshop. As usual the instructions are basic and some playing is required to workout all the features. Bluetooth: this is very clear and the first mode to be entered when firsted switched on and automatically connects back to Galaxy Tab S 10. Whether streaming TV or Radio the sound quality is great. Radio: it was not long before I decided there was not much point streaming the local Internet radio when I could listen to it using FM radio, pressing the FM button for 3 seconds automatically found all the main stations and now I can change to each of them with one button press to cycle through. The sound is clear, and a nice sound. Although with no aerial some best placement of the speakers is required (see new note at the bottom). Time: I have not yet found a way of displaying the actual time on the display, I can set it and set the alarm which would wake anyone up and using the SD CARD can be set to play music.I've been using it now on the same charge for well over 12 hours on a low listening volume, about 3 hours of that using Bluetooth and the rest FM radio which I assume takes a bit less power. The system is still showing 2 out of 3 power bars.Volume is good, although the instructions say 2 x 3w not 2 x 5w as the advert says. I think it's more like 3w, that's not to say it's quiet, it's loud enough for most users and there is very little distortion on max settings so you get the full wattage. The sound remain s good, bass is limited. Certainly not like my bose Bluetooth set in the living room but they were £180. That's said, in some respects the less bass makes a better sound for the radio.My only one negative comments are that it starts on quite a high volume, I'm sure it will be capable of remembering a lower setting but I can not work it out.Heres a tip that's not in the instructions: the lack of aerial for the fm radio. The supplied aux 3.5mm jack lead works as the aerial, but when this is plugged in it automatically moves to aux mode, press the FM key and now the radio has an aerial! Cool .Kev

I am very pleased with this little radio/speaker. It looks more expensive than it was, the quality of sound is fantastic. Pretty powerful as well- no distortions even at highest volume! Connects to my Samsung galaxy s6 with no problems at all. Lovely to carry around, it has a pleasant weight to it making you feel it's not all just plastic. I would honestly recommend it, and most likely will buy another one as a present to my friend.

It's a good speaker, easy to use via bluetooth or sd card. The FM radio is not so great, could do with an external aerial. The display is clear and very bright, would be nice to be able to dim it at night. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.
