Very nice chocolate priced off-scale high.
"Nestlé will launch its Swiss bean-to-bar premium chocolate brand Cailler in key international markets via e-commerce as it looks to plug an alleged gap in its premium confectionery portfolio." That's what you're looking at here, folks. The price for this chocolate is off scale insane. There is no reason whatsoever why 400 grams (2 flat bars) of chocolate should cost $28.11. This is a product owned by the Nestle' group, and you're mostly paying for the transport of this relatively long-life product - check the date of manufacture of yours to see how far it's travelled. The "super premiumness" of this product stems from the fact that it is allegedly made with pure cocoa butter but not palm or other vegetable oils common in other chocolate bars. Ok, fair point, perhaps.. but that really can't explain pricing this at something in the order of 10x the price of a normal chocolate bar. That said, it's tasty "blond' (not 100% white, but more buttery color) chocolate.with some quite common and cheap nuts in it. I like white chocolate and this was pleasing. The nuts had a nice texture and the chocolate itself was very satisfying. But not $28.11 satisfying; If you want to spend $28.11 on premium dessert, support your local bakery or chcoloatier, not Nestle's global branding ambitions on a long-shelf-life product.

Um, this could be the best candy I've ever tasted!
I'm not even exaggerating. This is incredible! I am a lover of milk chocolate, occasionally white chocolate, and especially (sweetened) dark chocolate, but this "blonde" chocolate, I was apprehensive, but... it's just amazing! I'm going to have to control myself with this. Plus, you have nuts, which are how I prefer my chocolate, but not just any nuts! These are Almonds and Hazelnuts. So delicious! I initially scoffed at the idea of candy being so pricey, especially at this time of year, when you can get it free door to door (well, kids can, but if you know the right places, adults can too), but then I tasted this amazing Swiss import! I've heard it described as a caramel/chocolate flavor, and yeah, I can get that, but it also reminds me of eating custard with chocolate mixed in. It's just too good to describe. It is one of the most delicious things I've tasted, and I highly recommend it! Thank goodness it comes with two big bars, because I wanted to share it but discovered I'd gotten halfway through the first in one sitting. It's the best!

What the heck is "blond" chocolate?
I had never heard of "blond" chocolate before, but it was chocolate, so I was willing to try it. Boy, am I glad I did!White chocolate doesn't do much for me, but this is not white chocolate. It is caramel flavored and it is amazing. The flavor is delicate, but it is so much better than plain ol' white chocolate. The chocolate is incredibly creamy and smooth. This is the good stuff (as it should be, at the price). Very rich and decadent! And then there are the nuts. This bar is chock full of almonds and hazelnuts. Not just little bits, but whole nuts. They add a satisfying crunch and nutty flavor.Even the packaging is special. The box is very pretty, and the chocolate inside is well-wrapped and sealed in foil. This product includes two 6.87 oz. bars. Each bar is segmented into 20 pips. A serving is four pips at 220 calories. I find that two pips make a nice treat. Of course, if you plan to eat two or four pieces, your best bet is to break them off and put the rest of the bar away. Otherwise you risk eating the entire bar in one sitting. Once you start, you won't want to stop! This chocolate would make a wonderful gift for a teacher, friend, co-worker, family member--or maybe yourself.

For nut lovers
This is a package of 2 premium caramel-white chocolate bars that are loaded with nuts. Each bar weighs 200 gm and is divided into 20 small (1x1.5”) rectangular pieces. Each small piece contains 55 calories. The suggested serving size is 4 pieces (220 calories), so 1 full bar contains 1100 calories. The ingredients are sugar, cocoa butter, caramel powder (whey, butter, maltodextrin, sugar, nonfat milk), almonds, hazelnuts, milk, sunflower lecithin, natural flavors. The product was made in Switzerland by Nestle.I usually prefer dark chocolate, but I tried this product out of curiosity. I was pleased with the taste, mouth feel, and crunch of the nuts, even though it didn’t have the strong chocolate flavor that I am used to. The “blond” chocolate is very smooth and pleasantly caramel flavored. And the bars are filled with whole nuts, so you get a good burst of quality, long-lasting energy from a small square as well as a satisfying crunch. Overall, this would a good snack, treat, or gift, but be careful about having it around the house—it’s really easy to gobble down the whole bar at once.

Delicious and beautiful chocolate
Everything about this chocolate is beautiful. The packaging is even charming. The chocolate itself is "blond"--not exactly white chocolate, which can often be cloyingly sweet and almost bland in flavor. This is nuanced, rich, complex chocolate, made all the better with the addition of both almonds and hazelnuts (my favorite!). This is like the fanciest chocolate bar with almonds you've ever had. This is the kind of candy bar you want to have with a nice glass of red wine: very grown up!

Great caramelized white chocolate
This blonde chocolate is basically white chocolate which has been caramelized. It’s a unique, and wonderful, flavor in chocolate. I love dark chocolate, but am not a great fan of most white chocolates. Thought I would give this gourmet version a try and I’m glad I did.The presentation is outstanding. This would make an impressive gift if you want to give candy. There is a high proportion of nuts in this bar. It would, of course, depend on the person on whether that is a positive or a negative, just wanted to let you know. The blonde chocolate is very smooth and the nuts are quite crunchy.I've uploaded a few pictures so you can see the unusual way the nuts are exposed at the top of the bar, as well as give you an idea of the size of the bar.
