Tried the radio transmitter thing for my daughter’s 2010 mazda3 but the static was crazy. So tried this instead and it works great! Aux in to use the car speakers, then usb to the charging port that’s plugged in the 12v plug. Now she can listen to her music from her phone while charging in the car.

I have a 2011 car I also have an 11 Iphone so it's perfect.

This cord completely quit working after two months. When it did work, it was only working sometimes. My music would stop for no reason. And there was lots of static when you have it plugged in to your cigarette lighter outlet.

Update: The seller did reach out and rectified the issue. Great seller that stands by their product and policies.This is an awesome gadget but it only worked well the first few times I used it, then it just ceased to be reliable. Sometimes it would work after I wiggled it a bit but eventually nothing at all.Probably poor conductor materials that give out after a few uses.I won’t buy again and will continue to search for a reliable gadget.

I got a lot of buzzing when plugged into power with this. Another problem was the music would stop randomly even with power unplugged.
