My dog ended up at the vet with a spliter
Prompted by another reviewer who has the same experience I thought it useful to add a review too. I would have given these 5 stars as my dog adored them then one rib splintered and she got a shard stuck in the roof if her mouth and we had to rush to the vet. luckily it was extracted easily but could have been so much worse. I contacted the comoany and they asked me to return the packet, which I did. Heard nothing more. These really are a great product but I just want to warn people to be careful.

Dog ended up in emergency vet due to Ribbies
I have been buying these for some months now but couple of weeks ago my dog (cocker spaniel) bit through the rib and it got lodged in the roof of his mouth with the splintered bone digging into his gum. I got a hefty vet bill in the process as well so would not recommend as wouldn't want same to happen to anyone else. The emergency vet said he would not recommend either

DANGEROUS
Splinters into small very sharp pieces that, potentially, could perforate intestines. My Shetland Sheepdog loved it, but I had to take it from him and throw it away. The small amount he ingested gave him diarrhoea. I disposed of the whole packet. Waste of money.
