This is the best zippered mattress cover I have found.
I purchased this mattress cover at least a year ago for my mentally handicapped son's bed. He pulls off fitted mattress covers and sheets, so this type of cover has always worked well for him. I have been purchasing these types of mattress enclosures for many years and most of them are made of thinner fabric with zippers that always end up breaking. Of course, those covers are not meant to be the main sheet, where it is continually removed for washing and they probably would be fine if left alone.This particular cover is made of heavy duty cotton with a zipper that has stood the test of time through many removals and washings. I was skeptical when it came without packaging information, but it is a very well made cover and I have been totally satisfied with it. It did tear in one spot, but that was completely due to the fact that I caught it on the bed frame when I was putting it on after a washing. It is pricy, but worth every penny to me since it has worked so well for my son. I plan on ordering another one soon, so I have a spare.
