This box of New Asia moodles only has noodles and peanut sauce. Even though the picture on the box shows shrimp the content has no add-ins, if you want them you need to buy them separately.The bowl is 480 calories. To prepare it you need to open four packages(noodles, sauce, peanuts, herbs), add two tablespoons of water, and mix. Okay so I ordered 5 of one Asian noodle bowl five of the other and two of the other a total of 12. Since I don't have a microwave I didn't have a clue how I was going to hate it so I boiled some water stuck everything in the hot water for about 4 minutes and then I took it out with my spider tool of course I lost a lot of flavor in the liquid; I guess I'm going to have to get in microwave. The flavor was about as expected I did sprinkle some sesame oil on it and did not add anything to it but these would be good as a starter with some sides added to it.

I state that, because it seems like many of the reviews are for some other product.I like that these take so little time to prepare, and taste pretty good; not "great", but better than average, for sure. Despite all the warnings posted about "spicy", I do not find this meal very spicy. Every once in a while a bite of it has a little extra heat, but nothing to worry about. The meal is a good value, and can be prepared and eaten in a short time, so if your schedule is hectic, this is a good meal to have. You can be creative with it, too; add some chicken, or bean sprouts, julienned carrots, etc.I will purchase more of these.

I would of enjoyed it if not this spicy.everthing else was as I hoped for.

I really wanted to like these. I ordered a dozen packs in different flavors, but the base sauce is identical regardless of the product name. Yeah, the peanut sauce has some peanuts,but the base sauce is a tamarind tasting sweetish sauce.Noodles are doughy, sauce is too sweet, etc. I guess you can't expect much from packaged noodles. This is the kind of food you'd keep in a bomb shelter.3 stars for packaging; way too much plastic waste.

I bought a few of these noodle bowls, and all of them were really good. I was surprised when I ate the spicy bowl, because it was barely spicy. So I made this one thinking “eh it’ll have zero spice.” MY MOUTH IS ON FIRE. I love spicy stuff, but I was not expecting it, since the spicy one was mild even though it had the three pepper level. This one has one pepper level, and my mouth is STILL burning. I don’t know if there was a mix up or something, but if you don’t like spicy stuff, don’t buy this bowl. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t what I was expecting at all.

Taste good and is easy to make. I would double the amount of water from 2 tablespoons to 4 tablespoons to make the noodles less sticky when they are done.

The sauce was kind of bitter. I had no idea that this item was spicy. I won't buy this again.
