So I bought this iron a while back and today was the 1st time I used it and I have to say that I was very satisfied with the end results. I am a 4C natural with armpit length hair and have not flat ironed my hair in over 3 years and decided to do a length check. I had the temp set to 390° with the steam on and used a mixture of avocado, olive, and grapeseed oil as a heat protectant and did not experience any heat damage. However the reason why I am giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because during my straightening process the flat iron had 3 moments where it temporarily stopped working on it's own and had an "err" sign flashing across the little screen (not sure why that happened or if I did something to cause it). So I had to stop what I was doing, turn it off and turn it back on again, and reset the temp. Aside from that one little hiccup I would have given it 5 stars but again I dont know if I was the cause or if it was an issue with the product, otherwise it is the best flat iron I have ever had and I love the fact that I dont have to hold a comb in the other hand just to get my hair sleek.

Someone sent me link to a pair they had and I received a different version. The instructions were not in English so I di not trust using. There were no pictures to follow. Wasted my money as I had waited to long to open and return time passed.

The straightener would probably have been great had the steam feature worked.... but unfortunately no steam produced out of the box .... I bought this straightener specifically for the steam but I will say that it heated up very fast and did a decent job straightening my daughters hair but I feel like the steam would have made the final results better

I have had a Maxius steam iron for years but thought I’d try something new and a bit cheaper. I wish I hadn’t. It didn’t work for my family.

This Flat Iron does NOT WORK!! Your hair will not get straight like the picture. Horrible product. Please do not buy.

Does not mist the water while straightening

The comb is awesome, and the main reason I bought this... I don't know why it's so hard to find straighteners with combs, it works SO much better!At first I didn't think the steam was working, but it actually just took a while for the water to get through for the first time after I filled the completely dry tank. I left the straightener on with the steam button activated for like 20min, and it started working. Now it works as soon as it's turned on, I only needed to wait the first time I added water.

Item is really great, it just did not work for my and my daughters' type of hair. It is hard to rate because of that, since for other people this would be an amazing item.

Innovative: Easy to use. Wish it had lower heat seatings. The lowest setting still caused heat damage to my fine hair. Wish the panel was more narrow to make it easier getting to the hair root.

The water compartment is very small & hard to fill & it really doesn’t get hit enough, even on the hottest setting, although I do have thick hair. The steam really doesn’t come out at all & m hair doesn’t get really smooth.

It works well but I expect higher heat and I have thin hair ! I had to repeat on the same hair more than twice at 450 degrees
