Good Quality Strings
Solid strings. Installed easily. String identification on the envelop in a horizontal box. I’ve had good results with Nylgut strings.

Nice replacement strings
While looking at new ukuleles recently I couldn't decide if I needed one, but I did decide that I liked the Aquila Nylgut strings on them. I bought these to replace the strings that came with my Makala MK-S and they definitely feel better.

Strings play a little tighter than other brands but maintain quality and tone
I've never had a bad set of Aquila strings-- no bubbles or deadspots in sight!I have 8 Ukes and have tried various brands-- for 90% of the music I like to play, Aquila delivers the perfect tone. For heavy use (i.e. you literally play for a living) you may want to swap out strings every couple months. Nevertheless, I keep these on my ukes for 6-8 months and have no issue. Confession: I kept the same strings for four years in college because on an instrument I left at home. The tone was still just as good as the day I left.

The best ukulele strings on the market
These are hands down the best ukulele strings that I've ever used. I've tried a few, including some other ones made by Aquila, and I always come back to their standard Nylgut. They supposedly mimic the sound and feel of high-end strings made from real gut. Frankly, the thought of using animal intestines to make music is a little off-putting, so these are the best option.

Best uke strings
I got a cheap uke at my local music store and knew the strings were toast because they were just dull and quiet. As soon as I put these on it was a night and day difference!I have used Aquila strings before and the difference I would summarize as: they are clearer, have more character, are louder, and stay in tune better once settled. Definitely an upgrade from factory strings.

Even my cheap kiddy uke sounds better.
Found a plastic kid’s ukelele at a thrift store for a quarter. Tuneable, so figured it was time to learn. Pretty crappy sound, wouldn’t hold a tuning, so upgraded to these strings. With the addition of a better nut I carved from a seal rib, these strings make my little kiddy ukelele sound fat better. And it holds the tuning. Now I can go to the beach without endangering a better instrument. I’m still pretty bad - but the sea lions bark with me. We’re awful, but these strings are great!

Sound great. Easy on the fingers. Long lasting.
I bought these for a friend who had nasty, hard plastic strings on her uke. I've been using the same aquila strings for over 12 years now on my Ohana ck20ce and while they probably have degraded some they still sound nice and hold a tune for a play session when I use them. I'd recommend these strings to anyone with a uke.
