Great flavor!!!
Difficult to wrap cake. First time I’ve ever used this product though. It seems hard, but as soon as you start working it it will soften quick.

Tastes great, but not true black, and very hard (to work with) fondant
Normally, I make my own fondant. Unfortunately, I needed a large quantity of black fondant, and so I specially ordered Choco-Pan Rolled Fondant in Black from Global Sugar Art. I used it the day after it arrived to cover my cake. It was a miserable experience. Just getting it out of the container was challenging, because it was rock hard. Trying to get it workable required taking finger-size bits and kneading them individually. It rolled out well in the center, but the edges easily rippled and cracked, which made the process unnecessarily difficult. Because it was so stiff, transfering it to the cake was easy, however, molding it to the cake shape was very difficult. Ultimately, it was not true black, and instead was a very dark matte brown - not really meeting my expectations of color or sheen. The only expectation it met was taste - it tasted chocolatey, somewhat like Tootsie Rolls. I don't know whether the batch I received was old or not, because no such information was listed on the packaging. Even so, I will never pay for it again.
