TIS (TM) Paint Protection Film. Our clear gloss transparent paint protection film is of a premium quality and manufactured in Japan. This product is designed to protect your cars paintwork from day-to-day wear such as stone chips, scuffs, scratches and weathering. It can be fitted to virtually any area, ie. : Bonnets, Bumpers, Wings, Door handle inserts, Key holes, Side mirrors, A-pillars, Wheel arches, Headlamps etc. As used by professional installers our film has 3 x layers : 1) The backing layer, 2) The self-adhesive clear gloss paint protection film and also, 3) a clear protective top surface film. The top protective surface film completely eliminates potential scratches / marks to the product when applying and is simply peeled away when fitted. The film is easily applied with a 200:1 mix of water and mild soap solution (Fairy Liquid as an example). The excess water and air is then removed using a squeegee (or old credit card) and left to dry for 24 hours. Our film can be easily formed / stretched around very tight curves easily using heat from a hairdryer (or similar). Great product
Sometimes you review something and feel like an idiot afterwards.I previously reviewed this protection film as being very susceptible to scratches. What I didn't realise was that the protection film had a protection film on top of it! Once this was removed the true beauty of this film was revealed. it is perfectly, clear and works very well at self healing.I use it on the fairing of my motorcycle and when applied with soapy water (watch the videos), you are left with a protective film you cannot see.Brilliant!

Well made robust material, but came off my new spotlights hours after I fitted it to them. Perhaps I didn't fit it correctly, I'll never know as there were no instructions. Perhaps I'll find a use in the house.

A very good product, comparable to much more expensive films.
This material, which was purchased for applying to motor cycle panniers, is at least as good as the 3M fill sold by most pre cut to shape retailers. Obviously you have to cut this film to shape yourself, but the results are excellent and tremendous value for money.

I bought two lots of this product and after applying ...
I bought two lots of this product and after applying the first I think the second will go in the bin unopened. When applied it failed to stick properly to my new paintwork and what did when removed left the glue behind which couldn't be removed without a LOT of effort :-(
