I am 5'3, 236lbs. Love the fit of these skirts.

Skirt material is thick in a good way (not flimsy) but a bit stretchy. I didnt realize it has a slit so I hope to make that into a kick pleat, and I also didnt realize it is a plus size (I know ...dumb) so hope to take it in but otherwise assuming I can make those two adjustments I am very happy with it! I would highly recommend it!

I have written many reviews for the L pocket skirt over the years because I have bought a whole lot. All the reviews are basically the same.These skirts are not consistent. They tend to fit big but there was a case where I ordered a 14 and a 16 and when they arrived they were both the same size. I do not live in the US, so I can not just return it if it doesn't fit. It is alright for me because I am a seamstress and know how to alter, but if you do not know how to sew, that would be a problem for you. They tend to be roomy in the thighs/butt and go in smaller at the waist. So if you have an 'apple' shape, you'll probably find that if it fits at the waist, it will be too big in the thighs.Well why do I buy them at all? Because modest jean skirts are hard to come by these days and also, there is usually a nice selection of colours as well.I do wish the sizing was more consistent so it would take the guess work out of ordering.ONE MONTH LATER:I had to change the stars from 3 to 1. In the past usually a skirt would last at least a year before the zipper would start giving trouble to stay up. I have not had this skirt for a full two months yet and the zipper pull broke off all together.I am writing these reviews in hopes that SOMEONE will read these and do something about the quality and fit of these skirts. PLEEEAAASSSEE!!!???!!!NOV 30, 2014I think that it is only fair to update this review because originally I had given it a 3 star because the fit was not consistent, then I lowered it to a 1 star because several skirts in a row had zippers that would not stay up or broke all together.I am rating this now at this time, a 4 star because in the last year I have had several of these skirts and they have been much more consistent in size (they still fit a shape that has a smaller waist than hips), and the zippers have been MUCH better.

The skirt is just the right length and fit. I am 5'8" and weigh 175 lbs. The size 14 is perfect.

This skirt was made of quality material but the sizes are way off! I ordered a size 24 and it fit like a size16! Also, be careful when ordering from Jessica london and the subsidiary companies. You cannot return these item through Amazon and the company makes it extremely hard to return items.

Prone to wrinkles

This is my 5th purchase of this skirt in different colors. It’s the perfect style for me to dress up or go business casual. The fit is slimming and comfortable. I can wear with different styles of tops. It’s well made with good quality fabric.

I have not worn this much due to it being a light color and I am clumsy. But this fit me perfectly. I am glad I bought 1 size up from the black one I bought. This is not stretchy! But perfect for what I wanted.
