OK I knew it was cheap. The black paint was sticking the handles together and there was a fairly large nick in the blade. Anyway so I used it for my intended purpose to cut bezel wire for jewlery and surprise surprise it works pretty good. I would not buy them again simply because the quality is so bad with so little care taken with the production. Having said that I believe I will get my monies worth and as a budget pair of shears They could be worse.

Pretty good, arrived in a weird plastic tight bag covered in oil, but they do the job.
