Easy to install.
It took me about 15 mins to install it on my 91 Miata then plugin the cig-adapter for the display. Drive the car for about 1 miles for 20MPH + then that's it. Getting another one for my wife car.

You can SEE it in Daylight!
I have tried many of these systems. The first one I found acceptable was a solar powered unit that could be seen during the day. I installed that unit in my wife's car for a road trip that we were about to take. It was great and prevented us from having an unusable tire in New Mexico on the way to Taos!I tried to order another (from Amazon) but it was out of stock and still is not available. So I tried several more systems. The Tymate is the ONLY unit that can be read in daylight and also has a larger display. The others (mostly) worked ok but none of them could be seen during the day and at night, the display was to small to read comfortably. The Tymate does need to have power from the vehicle. The display has 3 brightness settings so it can be dimmed when it is dark. I have my unit mounted under the radio and it is very convenient to glance down to see your tire pressure reading. Another button switches (temporarily) to the temperature the sensors are reading and the unit also has a display for the vehicles battery voltage. My vehicle has a TPMS built in but it only lets me know if I have a low tire and does not tell me which one. And it has had it's share of problems that included intermittent operation and some bad sensors. I love having a TPMS system that monitors each tire and on that drive to Taos, it saved us a lot of grief (and cost)!

This IS nice! No solar panel!
Very pleased. Works well, synced up fine. Much smaller than it appeared in pictures which is nice. Good mounting options. Comes with o-rings not mentioned in instructions? So happy it doesn't have a solar panel!!

Plan to purchase another one within a year.
Was easy to install. Worked ok. The display was so so. It would flicker sometimes. I had the rubber seal on two of the caps leak, seller sent new ones which was great. However, to associate them with the display was a joke. I was sent a video and tried to do it no less than 10 times. The display was faulty so it wouldn’t do as it was supposed to. I contacted the seller (again for the third time) I was told to take a video of what I was doing. I don’t have the time to mess around with this, I will get another one (different brand and different seller) less than a year for $70! Never again.

Old car, new tricks
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Bright, accurate, and easy to use. Once I figured out how to set up this TPMS unit it was easy to use. The instructions are lacking information on how to change the temperature units from C to F, or change the alarm set points. But after playing around with it, it was easy to set up. I like that I can mount it anywhere and not just mount in a 12V outlet. The unit has 3 brightness settings and as the video shows it's easy to read even in bright sun light.

Works well on 40' gooseneck trailer.
The sensors are about 30 feet from the display so I was concerned the signal would be read by the display. That was not an issue. I also have G load rated tires that can be inflated to 110 lbs cold. The Amazon information says the sensors can read on to 87 lbs. One other user said they can go higher and he was correct. With one car in the trailer i use 80 psi and 95 with 2 cars. I used a tire pyrometer to take the temperature 1/4" under the tread and adjust pressure to get even temperature across the width of the tread. I did have a sudden blowout with no time for the TPMS to warn me. It actually may have but I’ve learned the beep sound it makes is above my hearing range. The valve stem went to parts unknown, so I need another sensor. I wouldn’t also like to buy another set of sensors for a different trailer.

Easy to Install and Promptly notified me when I need to Pump my Tires
This is really a time saver for older cars without the TPMS build in and even if the TPMS is available, no system will not easily tell the temperature and which tire has the issue. It is easy to install than expected and perfectly notified me when I need to pump my tires. Good one for the price
