Portable Ceramic Space Heater with PIR Motion Sensor & Dual-Engine, 1500W Oscillating Electric Tower Heater with Tip-Over Safety Protection and Over-Heat Protection, 7-Hour Programmable Timer

When I first opened the package I thought this heater couldn't possibly generate enough heat to warm a room. Maybe it was intended to be a deal heater that would warm me up if I sat close enough to it. This heater is lightweight and compact, so that made me even more curious to see if it would warm a room.This heater has stands horizontally with a rotating feature. It will rotate about 90 degrees left and right once you press the OSC button. I thought that was a neat feature to spread the heat around the room. The On / Off switch allows you to turn the heater on and off. Whereas the power switch allows you to adjust the heat from High to Low temperatures. The timer has 3 allowable settings, 1 hour, 2 hours or 4 hours. There is also a safety feature that will shut turn the heater off if it falls over, but the really neat feature of this heater is the sensor. You can change the mode from normal or sensor. The sensor mode will sense motion activated. If there is no movement detected for 2 minutes the heater automatically shuts off. Then as soon as motion is detected the heater turns back on. If you don't like this feature you can operate the heater in normal mode.I tried this heater last night and it was about 43 degrees. At first, I plugged it up in our livingroom. You can feel the heat from the heater and I stood a couple feet away in the direction of the heat and I was still able to feel it. However, it did not get super hot as it would if we had our central heating unit on. Our livingroom is opened to our kitchen and I think because of the open floor plan that's why it did not get as hot. On the other hand, it does warm up a smaller space such as a bedroom. In a smaller area this heater produces a lot of heat. The warmth of the heater in a smaller space will leave you feeling warm and cozy. I would recommend this heater if you are looking for a space saving heater for your bedroom, bathroom or small home office space.

The first thing I noticed was how small this heater was but with giant power settings. It was easy to use with a very small exception of you have to hold the power button down for a couple of seconds instead of a quick push. Which actually makes a nice safety feature so it doesn’t get accidently turned on. This little powerhouse is small and light but powerful, so it’s perfect for spaces not well fit for large heaters. With it’s built in motion sensor it’s great for people who are in and out of a certain area that don’t want to waste electricity. Seems to be well built, mostly plastic but not cheap plastic. The motor and the fan are nice and quite and work perfectly as far as I can tell. Super easy to use buttons that are clearly marked. I only wish that the sensor mode and the oscillating mode would work together. It has a built in filter that can be taken out, washed and dried. Nothing expensive and hard to find to replace. For the size and power you can’t beat it I haven’t used or owned anything that would compare to this. Lastly my only real gripe is that the word Infrared in the description almost makes it sound like it uses infrared technology to heat. It doesn’t it's a really nice ceramic heater. It’s for sure has my vote.

 I wanted to try this space heater because it has a motion detector. I wanted a space heater to use in the play room in the cold basement. When my kid is not playing in the basement playroom, I don't need the space heater on wasting energy. The motion detector setting is perfect for this room; the space heater turns on when she comes into the play room, and turns off when she leaves. I don't have to keep running in to turn it on and off, and she is too young to do so herself. My favourite feature on this space heater is that it turns off when it is tipped over. Being in the playroom, it is bound to be knocked over at some point. I don't have to worry about the space heater being a fire hazard.

I am so happy with this heater. I live in a studio with one pane windows and the night time temperature has recently fallen to 53 degrees (typical for winter in San Francisco). When I close the blinds and then the curtains this little heater warms my living space to a nice and cozy temperature.The heater has a fan and a filter that can be taken out and cleaned. I have not used the timer but the instructions seem clear.

 Love the compact size. Good to see how fast it cools down once you turn it off. Compact size makes it easy for storage. The timer and sensor function helps in longevity so your not constantly running it when you don’t need to.
