I tried this out on a fishing trip today before I fully test it out on a canoe next weekend. I am very pleased. It is much thinner than other waterproof bags I've used in the past, which makes it easier to get things in and out of. The pouch is indeed waterproof. It straps around your waist, there is elastic in the strap, and it's also adjustable so that it's not uncomfortable. Great size- perfect for my phone, keys and ID.

We recently bought kayaks to go out on the lake or some of our mountain rivers. We are pretty good at kayaking and I have not flipped mine.. yet. So to be on the safe side, I have been shopping and trying out different water proof bags. I really like the size of this one for my cell phone. It’s a smaller fanny style bag. The strap is stretchy so it’s comfortable to wear when you are sitting down in the kayak. The material is a heavy duty plastic and does seem very durable. We put our cell phone inside the bag and submerged it underwater for 10 seconds and not a drop of water was inside the bag. Plus of course it floated, which is great if you flip a kayak… you would be able to see the bright yellow bag. There are several waterproof barriers, first there is a zip lock closure inside the bag, then the opening of the bag folds over numerous times and holds into place with a long Velcro seal. I feel pretty confident that it will keep items waterproof when we are out. My husband was able to get access into the bag, while wearing it without any problems and even leave it gently folded while out of the water. I am glad I got this smaller one as there are plenty of larger waterproof bags out there, but I really think I will use this one more often, because of the easy access.

My new kayaking buddy, keeps my wallet, car key, and phone dry and handy, it really has more room than I expected for something this size and it adjust quite well and is comfortable to wear. This pouch is even handy for waling trails, it keeps your valuables secure, one of the handiest low price Items I've got in quite awhile.

Tested it at the beach yesterday. It fits a plus size cellphone. I like that the strap is adjustable and flexible because I run with it and it keeps my phone snug.

Purchased two of these for our vacation, black for him and yellow for me. I kept a small money pouch in mine and the room key, he had some money and even his phone in his (put in an additional plastic baggie just to be safe) and no water leaked in while we swam and snorkeled.

This dry bag failed at several key seams after fewer than 5 uses. The seam by the velcro strip and the top side seam split open during use causing damage to the contents (which fortunately had been sealed in a ziploc bag as an extra layer of protection. I would return this but I'm just past the window. It's SO CHEAPLY made--I'm not sure why the other reviewers gave it positive feedback. Considering how much it costs to replace electronic car keys, you can't trust this product.

Definitely waterproof! Deducted one star because the belt itself doesn’t stay tight. A little annoying to have to keep readjusting it.

Not sure if it is water proof but the opening to put stuff is too small but does have good room after you get stuff in it. and very hard to roll and seal with the velcro closure. Would have been way better if it had zip lock bag type double seal.
