Like a 90's DAT recorder bet butter!
Very cool recording device!!! I spent a lot of time looking at 4 tracks, 6 tracks and such and came to the conclusion that what I needed was a simple recorder. Something that would record at the touch of a button, required no software and was super portable. Oh and made high res/quality analog to digital recordings. Reloop mix tape does just that. Currently I am going through my record collection, transferring them to mp3 format. Simply insert a thumb drive, connect the power and audio source. Hit the record button and the turntable. After that I insert the thumb drive in computer, transfer the files to a folder. Open each file up with Audacity, a free program, edit the track, first normalizing it and then sometimes snipping the intro and ending. Save file! I have stacked 15-20 recordings on an 8GB usb 3.0 thumb drive, barely touching it's capacity, even at the higher bit rate and had no glitching or any other problems. I looked pretty long and hard but found nothing to say you couldn't connect say a external HDD as a write to device. Reloop doesn't specify a limit to thumb drive size. I almost ordered a second one just in case this one failed and they were no longer available but alas I am not rich.

Great USB Recorder
I'm glad I found this small USB recorder before i went and purchased a rackmount unit i had no space for but needing a USB recorder. This little recorder sets up easy, is user friendly and does it with a small footprint to boot.I like to create loop mixes which can be 2 minute to 5 minutes per track with 10 to 15 recorded tracks total. The recorder works flawlessly during these multiple starts and stops when recording. I have also recorded 90 minute sets with no issues.Just set your output levels before recording and you're good to go!

Low tech but decent sound.
Really easy to use even for the technically challenged. Sound quality is decent for what it is.

Cheaply Made
The idea of this product is awesome, but the problem is that it's made with very thin cheap plastic. Also, the power adapter if jiggled even a tiny bit, loses its connection and you're never sure that the product is actually working, meaning if it stayed on or not. This is extremely overpriced for such a poorly constructed item. It feels cheap even by the weight. The only appealing thing is the way it looks, for the sense of nostalgia. I will be returning this product in the hopes of a full refund.

It does what it does and it does it old school
When everything is set up properly it records the same output that you hear through your speakers, making it easy to record live performance and practice session, has a signal/clip light (green/red), Red REC oN indicator light, power and usb lights...I have it connected with a Y aux cable to split the signal from the mixer to the speakers and to this "tape" recorder so I did not use a "through" or out port on it but it's thereOh there is only 1 button REC/STOP ...I think it's awesome!

Finally
I've been a professional DJ for over 30 years and I also transfer my records to MP3 (via CD's) practically on a daily basis as I DJ and run a warehouse business with rare vinyl. I have gone through literally thousands of CDs doing this and Ive been dying for a product that will do this transfer seemlessly WITHOUT HAVING TO USE A SOFTWARE PLATFORM Like Audacity (although it is a good platform).. Quick, easy and efficient I use this to record my DJ sets and to transfer wax to MP3 without having to edit on computer software. So far it has been an absolute BLESSING for me... Only thing I don't like is that It stamps the same date on all tracks with no updated times etc.. ) (No clock obviously)Freddy Fresh[...]

I love thr fact they kept it RETRO with this device ...
The bomb. If you just wanna keep it simple and not have to boot up a computer and quickly start mixing and recording hassle free...then this is what you need. I love thr fact they kept it RETRO with this device looking exactly like an old skool cassette. Take this little baby to a club And start mixing on the fly....everyone in around you will be trippin out...they will think you really are making a old skool MIXTAPE...this thing is incredible. Way to go RELOOP...clever creation right here.

Absolutely "just push record" and it is stoopid easy.
Really like it, but from the get go I wish it had an on-board power source. I am not a fan of tiny pugs and the 1.2 volt or what ever it is 2mm plug from a 120 volt wall adapter pushed me to immediately start looking for a back up power supply to power it, even at the cost of table space.Seriously.System is fantastic, and cute, and works really, really well; wish I had bought it a year ago.
