Worth it.
Why, oh why, did I ever buy paper filters. I am using this in a full sized bodum pour over. Night and day difference in flavor. Good oils from the coffee in every cup - check. Use pre-ground coffee and still get good flow with no grounds in my cup - check.

Makes amazing coffee
A great alternative to paper filters. The coffee I make with this tastes great. The pores are bigger than paper filters so adjust your grind accordingly.

This is AWESOME! I tried a well known ceramic cone and the coffee is so much better using this! Just wish they offered a larger size. But I still Love it!!!!!!!

I mean it works great, But....
I ordered this for my Chemex pour-over system as I’m getting into making real coffee. It’s been a journey, and I’m still a novice, so I started with this filter, thinking it would be a good alternative to paper—more eco-friendly and cost-effective.However, I found that it produces a watery and somewhat flavorless brew (it’s not my ratios - I've also tried with many adjustments). I believe this is because the mesh isn’t as fine as a paper filter, allowing water to pass through too quickly, which throws off the extraction and timing. After switching to paper filters for a few brews, I immediately noticed a richer, more balanced cup. That said, if you don’t mind a slightly different brew profile, this could be a good reusable option. It’s durable and easy to clean—I’ve been using mine for months, making multiple cups a day, and it’s held up well. But if you’re after a more controlled extraction and fuller flavor, paper filters might be the better choice.
