Great flow, compact
Works like a charm. Flow is very rapid. Had an electric pump spot thing and drive me nuts waiting to fill a glass of water. This fills a coffee machine reservoir in same time it took to fill glass before. Simple and effective. barely takes more space the jug of water. Looking at it might be able to lower for an even more compact installation with a hack saw if you can position over an edge of a counter.

Good stuff
I just got this thing so not sure how this will hold up and whether it will leak in the future but right now it does not leak at all. I read some reviews that said that it does not fit Primo bottles from Wally's world. Well, I have such a bottle (5 Gal) and it fits fine. It goes on kinda tight so you have to push it in quite a bit so maybe that's the issue for some. But anyways, works for me and works very well. Also, water flow is pretty fast and the valve opening mechanism is easy to operate.

Works so well, I wet myself the first time I used it!
I've tried manual pumps and battery pumps for my office water dispenser. This one is low-tech and beats all the others hands-down. It dispenses faster than our gravity-fed heater/cooler at home even when it gets low. The air-water exchange is critical for the gravity fed systems and this one has an amazing design. It's hard to imagine raving about something so simple but the higher tech options had so many issues that it's nice to go back to simplicity that works. And, bonus, it's off-grid! 😄The stand seemed almost rinky dink, at first, but it's solid and settled under the weight of the first bottle to sit flush on the counter. No complaints. The valve is the most important part. It exchanges water for air efficiently even when the bottle is almost empty. The first time I used it, I set my paper cup on the counter, squeezed the handle all the way, and proceeded to be doused in water as the cup shot off the edge of the counter. It's fast! You can squeeze the lever less if you don't want it to go full blast, but if I'm filling my big water bottle or eager to satiate my thirst, I prefer to hold on tight and let it rip!I've been through a couple of bottles on this. I use my 5 gallon water bottles delivered by a local company. I rip the plastic top off the bottle and put this valve over the end. It fits tight, doesn't leak, and works perfectly.I think it's worth noting that if you immediately remove the container being filled as you let go of the lever, then you're likely to miss some water which will go onto the counter or whatever. But, if you want a second or maybe less, it empties the valve and then it doesn't drip after that. I don't know if it has some hydrophobic coating/material on the spout, but it doesn't seem to drip (note 1 year update, below). I have a paper towel folded under it to detect any leakage, but there hasn't been any (except when I manage to spill my cup).It seems to dispense down to a very small amount of water which can be easily poured out when you pick up the bottle. It's well worth the reasonably low price tag IMHO.1 YEAR UPDATE: A year and a month after I started using this, it started to very, very slowly drip when not in use. I decided to experiment and tried a similar looking brand to replace it, but that alternative turned out to be a cheap knock-off that dripped way more than the Brio ever thought about. I gladly purchased another Brio (including an extra stand that I don't plan to use) and if I only get another year of faithful, effective use out of the valve, it will still be worth it. I still highly recommend this product. 👍

A Stand So Great, It Deserves Better Than This Garbage
Garbage! Literally going to the garbage.Let me start with the good—because, yes, there is some good. The stand itself is a solid 5-star piece of engineering. It’s easy to assemble, sturdy, and actually does the one thing it was designed to do: hold a giant water jug without collapsing like my willpower in the face of late-night Amazon shopping. But that’s where the praise ends.Because what use is a fantastic stand when the dispenser caps are absolute, unfiltered, industrial-grade garbage? These things leak like a broken dam in a disaster movie. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but no—turns out the only way to keep the threaded cap from dribbling water everywhere like a nervous toddler was to wrap it in plumber’s (Teflon) tape. Because nothing screams "high-quality product" like having to raid your toolbox just to make it work. And then there’s the larger cap for crown tops. Oh boy. This useless contraption doesn't even pretend to seal—it just pops off whenever it feels like causing chaos. Want to hydrate? Great. Hope you also enjoy mopping. It’s less of a dispenser and more of a water-based prank device. This is, without a doubt, the worst money I’ve ever spent on Amazon. And that’s saying something, because I’ve bought some truly questionable things in moments of weakness. Oops, my gullibility revealed. In the end, this product is a res frustranea—a pointless thing. Save yourself the regret. Either find a better dispenser or just pour water out of the jug caveman-style. Either option will cause less mess.
