It took me a day or two to get used to the quality of the brace and straps. It truly gives you stability and compression in the areas that are hurting and will not allow you to move in the wrong direction unlike many other subpar braces on the market.After a week of wearing this brace 95% of the swelling and pain I’ve had for 8 weeks (due to a fall while running) is now gone. It is worth every penny. I will never buy anything else.Also, the fit is true to size. If your in-between sizes, go smaller, otherwise the nifty inside gel donut will NOT make proper contact with your knee.

I regularly wear the standard GenuTrain knee sleeve for sports and hiking, but after tearing my LCL and spraining my ACL (non-surgical recovery), I needed something more supportive for PT and everyday wear. This brace has been a game-changer.It keeps my leg straight and stable, is easy to slide on and off for physical therapy, and is comfortable enough to wear all day—even while sleeping.I initially tried a DonJoy ACL/LCL brace (per my PT’s suggestion), but it was a disaster. The adjustments were awkwardly placed behind the leg, the sizing was totally off (too loose around the knee, too tight on the leg), and the kneecap hole dug painfully into my ligaments.This brace avoids all those issues. There are no awkward gaps, it slides on easily, and the material is incredibly durable and supportive—classic Bauerfeind quality. The kneecap ring in this model is even more comfortable than in the base GenuTrain sleeve, and the side hinges provide great support without digging in. The straps are intuitive and well-placed, making adjustments simple.Best of all, the sizing is consistent. I’m a size 3 in the regular model and size 3 fit perfectly in this one too. It’s absolutely worth the investment. Don’t waste time with cheaper braces that might delay your recovery or cause more pain—this one’s built to help you heal and stay active.

this is too weak for playing sports in, the side support broke in couple of usage and now not only it has no support but it is pinching the skin of my leg from the breaking line. what is the customer service for this? i would love to return this.

I ski a lot in Colorado, this is the best brace i've owned. I normally will take aleve before skiing because of bone on bone arthritis, it helps to ease the pain. I wore this knee brace without aleve earlier this year (only because I forgot to take it) I could not believe how much it helped, normally my knees would have been barking for about the 1st hour or so but with these braces it felt good. I'm on about my 10th day skiing this year with them and i couldn't be happier!! If you have bad knee pain like me, I'd highly recommend it.

This is the 2nd knee brace we have purchased for our daughter after her knee surgery almost 2 years ago. The first one lasted pretty well for all of the abuse it took while playing sports.

It's expensive but absolutely worth the money. You can play any sports without noticing wearing a brace! Excellent support and very comfortable. It brings me back to the basketball.

These do quite well. Lighter than other sidebar options. However, Even with proper care they do not hold up to frequent wear. Very expensive. Work great the first 2ish months than they start stretching and not controlling hyperextension of the knees. Disclaimer is that I have a connective tissue disorder called hyper mobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS). It's hard to find effective, long-lasting, lightweight bracing that prevents hyperextension of joints, especially knees.
