Carpeted a whole house
Just moved in to a new house, couldn't find anyone around to replace carpet in my house that wasn't outrageously expensive. I have installed carpet once in my life and remember having one of these, so I bought another. This thing is great! Extendable for my long legs so I don't have to be right up against the wall while trying to kick, and collapsible so that I could fit into the closets and get the carpet in tighter spaces. We installed some thicker carpet and the adjustable teeth on this worked perfectly. Only complaint from me is cleaning. The little carpet fibers get stuck in the teeth on it and it starts to not work the same. Had to clean it out, but, you have to do that with all of these carper kickers.

Easy to Use
I used this to remove a wrinkle in my short-pile carpet. This was my first time using a kicker. This one did not disappoint. It easily adjusts for grip on the carpet and for the length of the kicker. It got the job done!

Quality product
Easy to adjust. Comfortable pad. The safety pad for the head does not fit well. Product works as described

Works great
I purchased this to re stretch the carpet in my hallway and living room. It held up fine. It's not a professional model, but is a good value for what I needed.

What kicker is "easy to use"
I don't know why, but sometimes the Job Box is not on the first truck. How they expect us to roll out carpet without kickers- idk.My old kicker died of natural causes - getting beaten to death for a decade. In was going to depend on the Job Box kickers that the company supplied, but the job box often came after the carpet, so I deemed it important to buy a new kicker. Last kicker cost over $100.In less than 5 years I won't be doing this anymore (Wishfulness), so for about $60 I own the same thing that would be in the Job Box.The only problem I have with this tool is the extension - four buttons. It's not always easy.I'm also curious as to why there are length settings between full extension and full retraction.

Pad not connected
Great kicker excepted for the fact that the pad is not connected to the rest of it always falling off. I had to drill and put a nut and bolt to keep it together.. (see pic) other than that, I love it

Only experience with a carpet stretcher
No complaints. Used it to stretch artificial turf for my landscaping business and it was effective. Can’t imagine the need for spending hundreds of dollars on one of the higher end versions, but I’m sure those products have their advantages too.
