Quilted Mattress Protector, Hypoallergenic Extra Deep Fitted Mattress Cover 30 cm (152cm x 200cm) King

I ordered two. These are great. Already on the beds.. Saves those expensive mattresses underneath.As thin bed sheets don’t stop sweat marks getting through to mattress.I wouldn’t ever be without a mattress protector on our mattresses that I’ve paid £300-800 for!! For £12?? They last years and you wash them and good as new. Can’t wash a mattress, have to scrub it.Easy to wash. Fit well. What’s not to like, they are exactly what you see and think you’re ordering. And they work well. Soft, comfy and do the job.

Item arrived vacuum packed and unfortunately a little bit of the material had been caught by the heat sealer which left a small sliver of plastic on the topper but I managed to pick it off. Opened it up, give it a good shake and put it onto the bed straight away. The size is a perfect fit for a king size bed. We already had a decent mattress, we bought this to add an extra layer of comfort as we found our mattress on its own, a bit too firm. I'm not a great fan of the corner elasticated straps. In my opinion they're too close to the corners of the topper and in past experience have a tendency to "ride" or slip off the corners of the mattress. That being said, we put it on and it has stayed in place. I bought a mattress protector from the same company at the same time and that has a full skirt that tucks under the mattress all the way around. Why they've not done the same for the topper I don't know?Having the topper on the bed is pure luxury and heaven. It's like being snuggled up between two quilts; one above and one below (which does make it a bit warm, but I like being cosy and warm in bed). The extra comfort provided from the topper reminds me of being in a plush hotel, it's super comfy and we've been sleeping much better since putting it on. The only thing we've found it that because our mattress was deep, with the topper on as well, it's made it really quite high (a bit like the fairytale "Princess and the Pea" with all the mattresses stacked on top of each other :-) ). To add the final bit of luxury I would highly recommend a Fogarty "Soft Touch" deep sided fitted sheet then you really will feel like you're in heaven! Highly recommended but only to use on top of a fairly decent mattress. I can't imagine it will help much in the way of comfort if your mattress is passed it's best and you can feel the springs!

Very soft and reasonable. However, I would say if you have a cooling mattress it can be quite slippery!
