This is the best defense for my husband and daughter who are both lactose intolerant. These little tablets actually work. I was skeptical at first but one tablet does the work of 6 lactaid pills, and then some. The 2 additional enzymes cover all the bases we lactose intolerant people are missing from the other guys. Good stuff.

The instructions for this product are very unclear. I’m not sure if I have to swallow or chew it (like some of the Lactaid pills). If I was supposed to chew it, it tasted terrible. Once ingested it made my stomach feel strange.

The product worked, I think. But it tasted disgusting and had a terrible texture while chewing. Definitely follow the instructions and take it with your first bite or drink. I chewed on it before eating (like Lactaid chewables allows for) and that was a mistake. It felt like I was chewing on chalky cardboard, and the last solid piece just wouldn't disintegrate. This is unflavored too, unlike the vanilla flavored stuff you can buy at the drug store, so it was just...gross.

I gave up on solving my lactose intolerance when Lactaid stopped working for me years ago. I decided to give this a try because I read that it worked for people that Lactaid didn't work for. I went out and had my first real slices of pizza in forever and sure enough, I had no problems! I'm so excited to finally be able to enjoy dairy again!
